Dude, give your teachers a break. They get very little money for their jobs, and they're giving you life skills you need. Settle down.

how can i? these teachers treat me like the strong sad, shunned from partners and society, as well as they have a habit of picking on me for getting a question wrong. school is 99% of the reason for my emotional scars. :((

55, I've told you before, even if someone is being a jerk to you, being just as much of a jerk back to them is in no way going to help the situation. You've got to take things more lightly. Again, if someone is truly harassing you in a non-joking manner, take it up with a mod or admin, don't start a fight in a thread.

And everyone else, lay off a bit. I know some people aren't the easiest to deal with, but you've just gotta try or ignore them. Again, starting a fight only makes things worse.

And now for something completely different.

A big factor of that, though, is that they only work 9 1/2 months out of the year. If a teacher gets a job in the summer, they can usually get closer to the average wage.

Everybody would get killed if the joined today, the same way they did when they joined.

But, the way I see it, we should at least give them a chance to improve by telling them kindly to at least try to sound intelligent, if they refuse, we should ignore them, if they just get more annoying due to the lack of attention, then they are fair game.

I didn't read any of that crap that happened, I was just commenting on how everybody would get killed if they joined up now and telling people to lay off in general.

Before August 05, I had awful grammar skills and attacked other people for little reason. Then I ran off to Fanstuff and they whipped me into shape with the guidelines. I wasn't the best but I stopped being an arse and actually used capital letters every few posts. So people can change if we slap them with regulations and guidelines.

Back to crappy schools.

About Payment for teachers I believe it goes like this:

Regular Teachers: 30,000-50,000 per year.

Tenured Teachers: 60,000-80,000 per year.

Principals: 90,000- 110,000 per year

Super Intendants: 190,000- 210,000 per year.

Half of these kids are complete morons, they think they are in these little groups like the guys(a couple of them) are wanna-be thugs and the girls are just as bad as them. Hey does anybody else have SmartBoards? We have two. One in the art room, for reasons I don't understand because she never uses it, and we just got one in the math room. It was gonna go in the science room, but the only open place was above the sinks and the school didn't want it near water. My science teacher bought a white board and pretends it's a SmartBoard.

If SmartBoards and Promethean Boards are the same thing, we have one in every classroom. Including the normally unoccupied computer labs, which seems rather like a waste of money.

Remember how in the 60s through 80s, being a D&D playing nerd caused parents to be concerned and talk to teachers and principals would make announcements saying that its bad and encourage people not to play it?

Well, the same thing is happening here and now, except its not D&D nerds, its Punks and Emos.

Also, that Jenkem thing didn't work out, they didn't care.
