Hey, its better than having to sit through horrible voice acting.

This is just horrible acting with a purpose.

I'd rather watch Al Gore rant about nothing than watch a Disney movie where the characters talk about their feelings and come to sudden narrated realizations and attempt to fix a problem that could have been fixed within the first ten minutes of the film.

Yeah but it's PIXAR, man! Remember Toy Story? Good times, bra, good times.

Also, that's the truth up there with Chekt.

No it wasn't....... go onto filmratings.com and search for cars.

Edit: Just checked, I am a liar! Wow!

Yeah, it was pretty good, but their now just running out of ideas. A rat chef? A corporation of monsters? I say the best new movie that they made was "Finding Nemo".

I willingly watched An Inconvenient Truth...

It exaggerates quite a bit, but the point is still valid. I don't even bother to debate with people about global warming anymore.

Don't knock Monsters Inc., that movie had an interesting idea.

Also, Randall was rockin' cool.

Exactly what I meant! It's a very good and educational movie that is appropriate for schools!
And also, yeah it was a good idea that had alot of potential, but they could have made it a lot better. Plus, the term rockin' cool is so uncool that even you are cool by comparison. (Oh yes, I loosely quoted Strong Bad)

Monsters Inc. was meant to come before Toy Story.

And that's why i like Pixar. They explore new territories in animation, follow Walt's code, and always do sopmething you don't expect. The movies always have a message in them. And Wall-E looks amazing. It's a movie about the future where Earth is cluttered up and they send in robots to clean it up and they forget to deactivate the last one, if you haven't heard about it. Has almost no conventional dialogue, either.

edit: Randall was awesome. Steve Buscemi was great in everything. because Steve Buscemi is in everything.

1. Potential? Monsters Inc. is awesome and pobably could not have been better. Ending's always a tearjerker, too.
2. Chekt is the cooliest.

Eh, no point arguing in this thread. Back on topic now, 'k everybody.

Also about that movie thing, Consider yourself lucky that you could even bring in anything below R. I'm in 7th grade and we are only allowed to bring in G. I hate that! I mean, yeah I can understand why some parents wouldn't want their kids seeing Reservoir Dogs (which is still a classic film) but I tried to bring in the move "An Inconvenient Truth" which is rated PG and they wouldn't let me.

A lot of stuff in that movie is controversial, to say the least. I know many people who think it's total BS. So why should the school, especially with seventh grade, have to put up with so many complaints from parents when they could simply show something that most everyone will enjoy?

I didn't enjoy Cars much.

And I'm sure almost no rational person on that bus enjoyed A WALK TO FREAKING REMEMBER.

I pretty much agree with you on the Inconvenient Truth thing, Snork. I just don't think it'll be like armageddon in fifty years or whatever he said.

Cars was enjoyable as well.

Monsters Inc. came out before Finding Nemo FYI.

Also finding nemo was okay, but I loved Ratatouille. That was their best in a while.

Even for an 8-year-old, that thing is disgraceful. Seriously, I could draw a better gun in MS Paint.

In fact, here it is.

Post made by Hilary Clinton: You're banned for this drawing of a gun. You're threatening people. WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!?!?

That kid's gonna have a job with his name on his shirt.
His mom thinks he's all smart and stuff because he runs out in the yard and yells "airplane! airplane!"...

Oh, man.

That reminds me of a spiral my sister took up from an seventh grader full of drawings of men with no shirts on with faces on their stomachs.

Also, he wrote his RAP LYRICS IN IT!

They were terrible.

Changing the subject entirely, is anyone else forbidden to have pep rallies?

Apparently, the administration of my school didn't realize that if you put a group of roughly 1000 teenagers into a gymnasium and then get them all riled up and energized, on a Friday, a week before Thanksgiving vacation, then the students will get overly psyched and start acting out inappropriately, especially when loud and obnoxious shouting matches between the junior and senior classes are commonly known to be the norm.

We tried to have a pep rally on Friday for the game that night, because our football team's stopped sucking so bad this year, so the cheerleaders and the football coach campaigned to have some pep rallies and somehow or another got the principal to agree. I think illicit drugs were involved, personally, since the principal does not sacrifice class time for anything. Anyway. The administration seemed surprised when things got out of hand and tried to punish individuals. I think all the details are a bit too vulgar to post here, though. Long story short: we're all immature and stupid so we can't have pep rallies anymore.

Well, yes, me. Kinda'.

Mine are not really pep rallies, it's just everybody bored to tears in a big room with some boring old admin screaming. And then dangeresque and his Reesycup milkshake come to save the day. And then trogdor and Killingyouguy show up and kill everybody. It was the best day ever!

I know they suck. I'm glad they're not letting us have pep rallies anymore. I find them pointless and irritating. It's the fact that the administration was somehow unprepared to deal with unruly kids that bothers me.

I HATE pep rallies. They make you go to the gym to bring out your school spirit while a bunch of athletes run around and pretend to smile when they'd really be anywhere but there.

I'm gonna ditch one of those some day.
