You know a cartoon I would like to see brought back? Courage the Cowardly Dog. I loved that thing. It's creepy stories were a welcome change to the cartoon world.

Well, there's a show that I've been watching reruns of lately on Adult Swim, and I've really gotten into it, and now I wish that it wasn't cancelled... Home Movies. That show is totally awesome. :mrgreen:

Has anyone else noticed that the shows from back then had a lot more of an edge? They had an equal amount of slapstick jokes that 8-11 year olds would find funny and then there were jokes that were aimed at the older folks and adults; cartoons were a lot better back then.

Fraiser wasn't cancelled, the were anumber of reasons why Fraiser production ceased, but cancellation wasn't one of them.

That show was quite the awesome. I have a tshirt somewhere... I dunno where it went, though. I loved the humor. It was so laid back and subtle. I wish it were on when I was awake.

HOW COULD I FORGET FREAKAZOID!!?? Does anybody remember the theme song for Freakazoid? Speaking of Zoid, does anybody miss the show Zoids? That was a cool show. Both series. I wonder why they cancelled, they had a huge fan base.

Edgy doesn't always equal good... Rocko's Modern Life was really subversive, but it was just... stupid. (IMO, though I know lots of people loved it. Can't exactly fathom why...) However, oldschool Doug, before Disney bought it... that was cool. Bangin' on a trash can...

Actually there are a lot of similarities between Family Guy and The Simpsons. Just look at the Characters, with a few minor diffeneces the characters are mirror images of each other. The only major difference in characters are that in Family Guy, is that, the baby and pet can talk. Now I am not supporting Clan in any way, shape or form. I am just pointing out that there are a few similarities.

Well, the creators of The Simpsons did, they were one of the primary reasons why Family Guy got cancelled the first time.

Are you trying to say that the Simpsons is the only show ever about a family with three rambunctious kids and a not-too-bright father? There's no way you can say FG ripped off the Simpsons specifically in its character setup.

Oh, yes! I loved Courage! It was a bit creepy, but it wasn't nightmarishly creepy...just awesome.
