It's okay. No offense taken.

My friend is a great guy, but he is a bit of a know-it-all snob.

I do agree that the sound was sorta off during some of the songs, but anyway sometimes it was sung that way to make a point such as in A nothern song. Also the sound systems weren't the best things to be proud of.

I play piano, keyboard, recorder, harmonica, violin, French horn, most form of drums, and want to learn guitar.

Hey, cool! A Lennon fan!

I love people who love John Lennon (and The Beatles)!

I play the clarinet! And lennon plays the french horn, even though I don't he said that. I don't really listen to the beatles much, but they're not bad. I just don't listen to them much, so I wouldn't know anything about them.

He's a Tromboner. :)

Ummm...Anyways...Some of you guys should read the first post, it's about the Beatles tune as well.

You dare to insult my people?

I plays the tuba and trombone. Or, at least, I used to 'til I decided I hated band.

I don't think playing an instrument is necessary to tell if something is in tune. It might help, but I don't really think it makes your friend more qualified to determine the in-tuneitude of The Beatles. Especially since he plays trombone. Trombone != Guitar.

Maybe they were out of tune, but almost certainly not by accident or lack of skill. Perhaps 'twas their groove, man.

While on the subject of The Beatles, might I add that falling asleep listening to them leads to some very odd and sometimes disturbing dreams... :P

I haven't played my clarinet regulary in the past three years, and I sometimes play my early '90's Casio "Tone Bank", but I can say that the Beatles are average-sounding in my opinion. They're good, and a few of their songs are catchy and taste like a number 1 jam, but I'm not to the point of obsession over them.

I play the horn.

I wish I didn't.
