I'm reading Maximum Ride by James Patterson and it's a great book. I've already read it, and I need to go out and buy the sequel.

Tell me that doesn't exist. Even if it does exist, tell me it doesn't so my head won't explode.

The scary thing is, that sounds like it COULD very well exist.

i started reading Amityville Horror, but I stopped once I got moved into our unfinished basement... scary books and sleeping in a half finished basement don't mix well.

I wish I was reading Angels and Demons by Dan Brown, but it's always checked out at my library. Mumble grumble...DaVinci code movie muble grumble...

Um, the last REAL book I read was The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. There's a reason that book won an award.

And no, it's not because the cover happens to be red. :p

You're learning!

The Curious Incident was indeed a great book. I cried. Wah.

I've taken a break from Jonathan Strange (usually I don't do that, but this book is so long and kind of dry) and I'm reading The Overnight by Ramsey Campbell. It's not very good. It's a horror novel about a bunch of bookstore clerks who are doing a graveyard shift inventory. A bunch of us at work are reading it just because we thought it'd be funny. It's not.

Angels and Demons is even MORE far-fetched than The DaVinci Code.

And that's saying something.

Decent book, but nothing to write home about.

I liked Angels and Demons more that the Da Vinci Code.

But now I have to read To Kill a Mockingbird for school next year. Gonna be a looooong summer...

I can remember on "Who Wants To be a Milionare", some genious was asked "Who wrote Angels and Demons?" Dan Brown was one of the available answers, and she said "It can't be him, because he wrote the DaVinchi code"

What a freaking moron. Apparently people are only allowed to write ONE book now.

I just read a book about the Darwin Awards. While it may seem kinda mean to laugh at others misfortunes, some of it is well worth it.

When I was working full-time, I'd read those books on my lunch break. They are pretty dang funny.

I'm reading The Codex by Douglas Preston. Good, mindless, summer read that's a bit better written than most of it's kind.

I just picked up my Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galazy and it's open before me right now.

815 pages to finish and return by July 13th...

You can always renew it... take your time and enjoy every word.

...Does it have all five books in it?

I'm reading Johathan Strange as well. I just finished taking a long break from it while I was finishing up school.

Yeah, it's definitely not something to read while you're trying to concentrate on something else. I actually bought it quite a while ago and started in on it once school was (kinda) done. I'm taking a summer course which ends in July, so maybe I'll take a cue from you and wait until then to finish it. Besides, I have Stephen King's Cell waiting for me, and I'm having a hard time not cracking it.

OHHHH,

When you're trying to be possessive, it's just y-o-u-r. But when you're using it as a contraction it's y-o-u-apostrophe-r-e! Scalawag!

Yes, I have returned.

And I am a he. I've been working on music and graphics. I'm almost able to transfer out of where I am studying currently and into a university. Hence, I will be getting my Bachelor of the Arts via my major of musical theory.

But to stay pertinent to the subject...

I just got done reading (for the millionth time) one of my favorite books...

The Metamoprhosis by Franz Kafka

I've read that. It's kinda short for my tastes, though.

Heh, I've read that, too. I also went around telling people that I worshipped Atticus Finch. 'Cause he's hardcore.
