I had a very odd dream last night that I was in this town that had been built on top of, or around, a huge, olde graveyard. There were tombstones sticking up out of the ground everywhere--in people's houses, in the middle of the road, right next to the sidewalks. It was sort of a tourist thing and people who lived there gave tours of their houses where all these tombstones were. No ghosts or zombies or spooky fog or anything--plenty of daylight and cool tombstones.

I keep having three kinds of bad dreams lately. I had all three kinds last night, and they went like this:
  1. Failing in School- This time I went to a class in Geology I'd completely forgotten that I had (I don't really have a Geology class). I hadn't done any of the work and the prof was not happy, and I put on this facade of being proud not to have done anything. But I was actually really worried.
  2. Far from home without transportation- I was in a city where my favorite woods spot used to be and had to get back home (an hour drive away), but didn't have my car... so I started running. I was in my martial arts uniform for some reason. Then I found my car in a rest area, but couldn't get out because the speed bumps were too high.
  3. Cell phone ruined- I keep getting in these dream situations where I have to jump into some water for some reason in all my clothes and then I realize I had my cell in my pocket and it gets ruined. I don't know why I had to jump off some cliff into some water yesterday, but I remember it being hard to keep my head above water, but still the first thing I did was grab my phone and hold it above the water line

Anyone have those hallucinating sort-of dreams, where you can't tell if you're awake or not? Comes from Alka-Seltzer, or too much Creme Soda.

It's like, you're in your bed still, but people appear there, and you think you're still awake.

I was doing a fundraiser one time where I had to stay up all night playing video games (yeah, I know) and I drank way too much Creme Soda and Root Beer. After I got home and tried to sleep, I kept seeing the video game. It was freaky--and I couldn't sleep the entire night. Never doing that again.

I had one the other night where my friend Ramey, her sister & I were writing quotes in mechanical pencil on a grayish-bluish-greenish wall, and my friends Jason & Tobi were taking pictures of each individual quote. They had those nice photography lights and a light meter and all that stuff.

This is why I kinda wish I'd started having nightmares again.

I believe that would be Sleep Paralysis.

I had that when I was four. Not sure if I posted it here already, like a while ago...

Huh...while I was in Jamaica I kept having the strangest dreams. >_>

Like the first night...I had a dream that I was handcuffed to one of my friends. Yeah, that was pretty weird. Unfortunately, I don't remember any of the others. >_> They weren't weird enough I guess.

Last night I had a dream that I was in chem class and I heard "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen as a ringtone. My chem teacher then silenced the cell phone it was coming, and I looked at it and it looked exactly like the cell phone I have. Except I still had my cell phone. Not really all that weird, just a little random.

I had an amusing dream last night. I'd be banned if I posted the whole thing here so I'll just give you some keywords:

Well, it wasn't -that- bad. I mean, it was mostly /implied/...

I should really shut up now.

Psychologists say that everyone dreams; we just don't remember most of them. Let's say in a given night, I have 6 dreams. But when I wake up I remember only two of them. What if those two dreams were, instead of being remembered, "played back" later in the night? Your brain wouldn't have a choice of what dreams it plays back; some nights it might not play back any.

True. I can only barely remember what my dream last night was. I think I remember, but I don't know anything. I was reminded of it a few hours back, but no matter how hard I tried, I still can't remember what I dreamed about.

Ah well. If I can't remember, then it's probably not worth dreaming, anyway.

You had a dream you were in a 90's cartoon? :P

I had a really peculiar dream many moons (ha) ago. I dreampt that my friend and I snuck aboard this spaceship that landed in my tree, but we were found and the guards tried to haul us out and were gonna throw us in the brig and somehow I had a superpower that let me "reset" the dream. Then we went back to where we were hidng. We got caught again, but we managed to drag ourself to the captain and confess what happened. He ended up being a super-nice guy who let us sit up in the cockpit with him, and he gave us magic carpets. Then he took us to markets on faraway planets and I bought some really nice-smelling orange alien soap.

...Yeah.

Not really a "wierd" dream, but whatever.
I used to remember my dreams when I woke up...but now I don't remember them until later. Now people are talking to me and they'll say one or two keywords and the dream will come flash back to me.

Kind of a weird/scary dream. All I can remember is this timeline where global warming was rising then fell after the invention of something and everything was fine until 7500, where a problem began to emerge. By the year 10000 it became obvious that the world's air supply was running low.

Yeah. I probably had too much food yesterday.

I was shopping for a guitar amp when I came across one that had a built-in turntable so I could play records. I thought, "I could buy that Joy Electric 12" I saw on eBay!".

But much to my dismay, I later woke up & realized that I had been dreaming. :(

I had one the other day, after like 12 hours straight of beating Gears of War on all the difficulties, and playing online for like 5 hours. We (me, my dog (I have no idea why he was there), my brother, my black friend Dejon, and some blond kid) were inside a run-down office building (everything was kinda redish-purple and dark, kinda like the game looks), with 3 or 4 back rooms interconnecting. We started out in a room with a guy who asked us to go down to where all the bad guys were and turn the power back on. We ran into the room behind him, picked up some ammo, and then continued on. When we got to the next room, a giant mutilated dog (think Resident Evil, but the size of a big ol' huskie) popped out of nowhere. It started attacking me, but I kept it off. My black friend Dejon handed me a freakin' missle, and I blasted the dog's face with the backblast, and it ran off. I woke up after that.

Note to self: No more all nighters with Gears of War and a 12 pack of Mountain Dew.

A friend told me about a weird type of dream, where you're completely awake and conscious, yet you are hallucinating, but you can't move. For example, my friend told me about one where he was lying in bed, and his friend came into the room and asked him for a hammer, and then said, "Oops sorry didn't notice you were asleep." And my friend tried to get up and tell him he wasn't asleep. When he did wake up, he called his friend and told him, "Hey, I have your hammer." :D

It also sounds like a lucid dream, which I think we've also discussed here before. Somewhere.

Yeah, a couple pages back, we were all discussing about getting lucid dreams. I remember Teh Ch8t was trying so hard to get one with no avail. Is that why he's missing?

I need to get one of those lucid dreams. I haven't had one in a while.

And that article on Sleep Paralysis isn't that scary. What makes it creepy? Real Raamis?

Well, uh, I had a dream the other night, where I had to do this project where I had to take pictures of animals...and I couldn't find enough animals, for some odd reason.

And I had that dream while I was in the middle of doing that actual project...but with plants, not animals. But I still couldn't find enough plants! :p (But I did, and I hope I got a good grade for it)

I had a weird dream recently.
I dreamed I went off to college, yet everybody there were people I knew or who were my age. It was more like a camp than college, and I was doing all of the same school I'm doing now. But of course, I had a schedule that I lost, my dad had a backup, but we couldn't find my dad or the backup.

I have the dumbest dreams, like being chased by giant spiders, sneaking into restaraunts for couples only, living in a ratty, spider-infested house in the ghetto, dying and going to hell (to find that hell on top of a flaming cow), falling off skyscrapers, my dad dying...and then there are some good ones, like having all the clothes I want, moving out and getting a great job and getting a girlfriend. When I have those dreams, I'm always disappointed when I wake up and try to somehow pull them into reality...what, this is deja vu...

Edit: Also, since I was six, I've been dreaming that I would lose my head, take all my clothes off and run around the house. Then I snap out of it.
