My dinner was kind of lame last night. I just had macaroni and cheese and some salad. Eh. I would have made some tasty Zatarain's rice, but I didn't have any ground beef to go with it. Tonight I have to grocery.

To be fair, Easy-Mac is the real college food. Real macaroni and cheese requires milk and butter-da, both of which are scarce in dorm rooms. Anyway, I avoid all of my old college stand-bys (frozen pizzas, pot pies, ramen, etc.) nowadays, and try to do some actual cooking almost every night.

Lucky me, I live at home because college is so close. So it's real food for me!

That is not lucky, that is very sad.

It's a two year junior college, what do you expect? I'm going somewhere else not this comming fall, but the year after it.

Ah, well, that's different. But anybody who lives with their parents while going to a four-year (residential) college is really missing two thirds of the value of the college experience.

InterruptorBones is right. College is about ummm...sleeping in. You don't get to sleep in as much if you're living with your parents!

You don't need all of that stuff... Good ol' toastpaint drops a train on any off topic monster, but I think that SeeThroo is the only one who can use it. Probably has something to do with his security clearances or some kinda Air Force protocol.

Last night, it was bowling alley food. Greasy cheeseburger, fries, cheese sticks, and cold ones.

After two days of artery clogging food, I think I'm gonna eat something that, at least, seems healthy. I'm baking some chicken (with an awesome rub that my neighbor mixes up) and I'm gonna fix either mashed potatoes or rice and possibly green bean casserole.

Last night my Botfriend treated us and brought home burgers and fries from Deluxe, this super-good local burger joint. It was TV night, so we figured we deserved something extra yummy.

I had subway tonight. It was pretty ok. Nothing grand, but their food really never is. On the bright side, it's never too bad.
Italian BMT on Wheat with spicy mustard and spinach leaves... mmmmm... spinach

Well, I have a carton of won-ton soup left over. You want I should mail it to you?
:p

I eat Chinese food about 4 times a month, because my family loves the local Chinese buffet. I do too, but I prefer takeout.

Man, I would love to live with you guys. And the Chinese food owners must love you guys too.

Sorry, too late. I ate the soup for lunch. It was good.

It's gotten to the point where the waiters know what we like to drink and where we sit at the buffet. That's how often we go. If I'm not online at around six on a Tuesday or Monday, I'm at the Chinese place.

Steak, swordfish and spinach. It was a "welcome home" meal.

Man, my welcome home meal is finding whatever I can find in the fridge.
