I don't listen to music much, so I don't plan on getting an iPod.

If Steve Jobs loved me, why am I still saving up to buy my PowerBookG4?
I wish he did.

Well, I was able to save for one, and it only took like ten weeks. But of course, you are much older than I am, so $300 out of your budget for food is probably alot.

Well, that's too bad. iPods are FUN!

Yeah, $300 is about thw weeks pay for me, but I have more important things to use that money with, like paying my car insurance, or buying books for school, or filling up my gas tank. So right now an I-Pod is not on the top of my to get list. But it would be a nice thing to have.

I just thought of a new one: The entire Numa-Numa dance into avatar size.
If anyone can do this please do.

I do not think that's possible. That's way too large of a file.

Besides, who's going to sit there and watch the entire thing cycle through?

I could link to an Off-site image. Couldn't I?

I know who will watch it: ME!

You can upload it from an off-site. But even Stu said that it still should be within 100x100 and no more that 10k's. Keep that in mind.

How come off-site avatars don't have size restrictions? I've never understood that.

The point of Off-Site avatars is to have an easier way too have huge avatars.

I don't know why we have it, but if you read the forum rules, Stu said that the offsite avy should be the same as the regular avys.

The reason for the small avatars is for the people with the slow connections. a huge avatar is gonna make loading a page slower than what is already is. For the people with the High speed connections we don't really care.

It's kinda combonation of a long load time and widening the colum. And when the colum widens, the page widens, and then it gets really annoying.

Well, if the mods can change post counts and such, why can't they put restrictions on that kind of thing too?

Oh well. I guess it's not really any of our buisness.

But the discussion at hand is, why don't they put restrictions on off-site avatars? Is it even possible?

I think that it's from another site they might not have the power to do so.
