...Sorry. This thread wasn't directed to just YOU, though.

EDIT: Did someone remove the last option? I might have just forgotten to hit a button, though...

That's pretty cool. I beat it the first two times with "lemon meringue pie" and "hamburger."

Computers are scary.

Yes they are.

I keep trying to make it learn "tuning knob" on the radio but it STILL doesn't have it in the database.

Oh well, hopefully the darn thing will "analyze the data" as they say and hopefully add it.

Oh, and I first saw this at Learning Express today. (Don't ask, okay?)

I just fooled it with zamboni.

I feel special because I'm able to outsmart a computer. How pathetic.

It's very difficult to beat if you choose animal, vegetable, or mineral.

I used "cat" and it took 28 questions. It guessed "black cat" and "siamese cat" before just "cat". Weird.

Ha! I just did "light saber" and it gave up.

I had chosen cat, it took it 24 chances.

I love that game. But it astounds me how it always no matter what knows what I'm thinking! I now never say the word out-loud, because it might be able to hear me!

I stumped it with grapefruit. It guessed mango, orange, peach and a few others but then it gave up.

Not so hard to stump it. Thef irst one took 28 tries to get eyelash, the next one didn't get golf club shaft whatsoever. Never ever came close to plutonium. Well, there was atomic bomb. 25 tries to get dice. But goodness, it took 19 guesses for dog. Stumped it with discus. 23 to get arrow. Oh well, that's that.

I gave up on cushion.

You can buy handheld ones as well. Someone at work got one for their birthday and we were all playing with it while it was quiet, and yes, we were too scared to say it outloud!!

Another try: celery, 28 tries. It asked if I loved it!!!
Similar objects to celery that it listed: a carrot, the color orange, a root, a scallion, a mountain bike, coriander, the color blue, salad, bok choi (chinese cabbage), a cabbage, spinach, a green pepper

Last one: Parrot took 24 tries. It guessed toucan and macaw first.

If the game is allowed to take more than 20 questions to get a right answer and still win, why is it called 20 questions?

If it takes more than 20 questions to win, then it loses, but it did get it eventually.

I just stumped it again with tree stump. Booya.

I've done three things and it hasn't guessed one of them so far. Then it shows me all of the contradictions and I say "pah" and disagree! Strangely though I'm continually drawn to this game.

Let's try again. This is strangely addictive!

I picked mailbox - it guessed scphincter! (sp?) I won!

I picked diamond - 26 tries

I picked zebra - 23 tries

I picked Unknown as a category and am answering yes to everything - it guessed something.... pretty generic!

Last one - I picked detergent - 28 guesses

It guessed brick in 25 guesses.

It got turkey in 23.

It guessed Slinky in 19 tries. So I won 2 out of three times.

That was pretty cool. I was thinking of a can of Crystal Pepsi, and it guessed "soda can" in 19 guesses. It looks like computers are getting even smarter! Pretty soon, instead of us controlling them, they'll be controlling us! ;) ......

You can't do a specific brand, it says so.

It was unable to guess 'killer white bunny'

Although, it did ask me if it would float, but strangely enough it didn't ask if it was made of either wood or ducks.

It ALMOST guessed atomic bomb. It didn't get Mycenaeans, and did get pronoun. This is why you don't play games while doing homework.
