Has anyone other than me and people I know from school worked out how to make movies and games on Powerpoint? I've made a few movies and I have started on a game. I can actually draw better on Powerpoint tha I can on paper. Anyone?

Yeah, I'm the same, making stuff on PowerPoint (but I make pictures in Paint or the Gimp).
That's why I want a program to convert PowerPoint things to swf files, so I can put it on the web.

Go PowerPoint!

I have to do a project on PowerPoint for my AP Euro class, so if anybody's got cool tips or snazzy ideas, I'd love to read 'em.

My school is big on power point. Some of my teachers teach their entire class on power point slide shows (which is actually a good way to learn). Naturally, my class and I have progressed in it.

Doing all of the recommended instructions from the Microsoft Office manual always worked for me.

I've heard of powerbullet which is a program that's like PP but it makes the presentations in flash
I haven't tried it very much though)

Creating PowerPoint things on your computer and showing them on other people's computers isn't reliable, often the animations are weird or don't work right.

As for converting to Flash, Camtasia is probably the best but it makes the presentations so jerky, and it doesn't have the sound including in the presentation. (Oh, and the free version only lasts 30 days [unless you change the date of your computer, hee hee hee]).

I took a class in grade ten where we made some animations in Powerpoint. I made a little 90-second thing about smiley faces playing basketball, that's all I can remember. It pretty much sucked.

Quick question:

What does the topic of this thread have to do with the Toons on Homestarrunner.com?

Cause you put it in the toons section...

I'll just move it over to the Off Subject area.
