Yes, the mods have complete power. On my PHPbb forum, you can change everything from username to avatar to forum settings to post count to sig. But this is the H*R wiki. No moderator here would dream about being mean to people for no reason unless they've broken the rules. Even then they would suspend you, ban you, or delete your posts. The mods here are very nice, don't forget that. This is the reason I return here after going on other forums where if your post count is below 30 for 20 minutes they kick you. And I'm not kiddin'.

One time my sig was too tall and they edited it after like 30 seconds already (even though it wasn't near some of these other signatures here)
Looks like the post counts are back to normal

Personally, I think you current sig is way cooler then anything you could have potentially had before. :) (Although, I can't say I remember what you had before... google gulp just roxors everything else)

On the topic of sigs: I've been keeping tabs on your "Don't click me" link, first it said "click me" and automatically logged the clicker out. Then it changed to "Don't click me" and now it goes to a site that says some guy is fat with a picture and then logs you out.

It was about the April foll joke that the Mods pulled. They fixed they're post count to some really high number. And I guess they can change preety much anything, like your name. Not that they would though...

It's all just data stored in a database... Any webpage like this (or the wiki) is stored in some format like that.

Why wouldn't we have access to the data that we are uploading and paying for :)

It's just a matter of knowing what you can change (and how to fix things when you find the fields you shouldn't have changed)

So what your saying is, when I (Hopefully) set my own forum based off htis one, I'll be ale to do almost anything? Or are there antthings that the mods can't do to a particular person?

It's all limited to what you know.

Everything can change. It's all stored in plain text files. You just need to know where these text files are located, and which ones to change.

So to answer your question, yes, you should be able to change everything in your forum. Just don't come to us when things break :)
