Post subject:  Really Mad!

Ok, today I took off from school.

I stay home all day, and at about the time that my school gets out, I go on AIM. I wait for a bit. Then some of my friends come online. I begin to talk to them, and after a while they tell me that instead of taking long, boring notes on Martin Luther and the Refromation, they watched Napoleon Dynamite, and had pizza.

I see a good side to this, and a bad side.

The Bad: I LOVE Napoleon Dynamite. It is my favorite movie ever. I am really bummed that I wasn't there, and people will probably nag me about for the rest of forever. (Everyone knows that it is my favorite movie).

The Good: Although taking a moment to realize it, I noticed that it wouldn't have been good had I been there to see the movie. I've seen it 18 times, and every time I see it, I quote the whole thing. And nobody likes that.

The reason I started this thread is so I can hear you guys laugh at me.
Oh, and post your comments, too.

I really don't want to make this an R&P thread, but. I really think a religious holiday should be more respected especially if it involves a man dying for our sins. I mean my school took the day off.

Well, I'll edit my post to say that I took the day off from school today. So it doesn't distact anyone.

It's okay. I'm watching it for the 20th time right now. Yay! 20!

Anywhoo, I am really beginning to think that my classmates and my teacher are pulling a prank on me. Because it is not like my teacher to pop up a movie-day. She would have informed us first, and probably would have sent a parent note home, so we could have permission (it is a PG movie).

Another tell-tale fact of a prank, my teacher has two sets of classes lasting three periods each.
She has an all "Gifted Class," and a "Cluster Class."

I am in the "Gifted Class," and so are my friends who told me that they watched ND. But later I called my best friend, who is in the "Cluster Class," and asked him if his class got to watch the movie. He said "No."

Like I said before, everyone in the class knows that I love Napoleon Dynamite. So, I think she is playing a big prank on me. Well, at least I hope she is.

Trust me, ThatGoblin, if you say that Mrs. Tracy is a cool teacher anywhere on the campus, everyone will instantly classify you as a nerd or a geek. Or both.

She's really that bad.

Sounds like my teacher, she counted off 25 points on my worksheet, just because I couldn't find it for 2 minutes!

Okay, so the teacher didn't prank you...isn't it possible that your friends did? I think so.

Ask the teacher what they did on Friday and she'll have to tell the truth.

It's okay. I forced the truth out of my friend. It was just a prank she and two of her friends played on me.

If not for the forums, I would have never heard of Napoleon Dynamite. And I'm still not sure what it is/who it is!
