Did anyone here play The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker? What do you think of it? Could you fill me in on some details? What would you give it out of 100? |

When you preorder the new Zelda game, you get a bonus remake of the wind waker with the new realistic graphics. Out-dang-standing. |

Out-dang-standing. You mean Zelda 2005? Where can I preorder it? |

You mean Zelda 2005? Where can I preorder it? http://ebgames.com or http://gamestop.com. Maybe you can preorder it over at Amazon. I'm not sure if you can preorder JUST YET, but give it a little time. From what I've read/heard, it's gonna be called "The Legend of Zelda" and that's it. Neat, huh? [EDIT] D'oh! You can't preorder it YET...but give it time. I found this out in EGM, which is a pretty respectable video game publication. [/EDIT] |

Nintendo Power called it "Zelda 2005" at first, then on the poster in the last issue it was just "The Legend of Zelda"... but they might just be hiding the name. Interesting... EB Games says it ships on October 1st... NP wouldn't tell when it came out. Awexome box. |

Out-dang-standing. huh? Sounds like somthing a cel-shaded hater would say. Where did you hear of this? EDIT: hey I went EB games and the box art is obviously just a screenshot from the E3 video... EDITx2: O right I'd definatly give it 10/10. Definatly An epic game. Remember: Every Zelda (cept CDI of course) is worth buying. And people who say that it has bad graphics are people who are addicted to 3-d animation. I don't like games with real looking graphics. I get enough of the real world thank you. Ill take cartoony graphics anyday. |

Wind Waker, eh? It's a superb game. Not a lot of replay value, but it's fantastically fun while it lasts. Of course, this is coming from a Zelda fangirl, but WW is one of the best games in the series IMO, just behind Majora's Mask. My only gripe with it is some repetitive fetch-quest stuff at the end. Still, highly recommended. AgentSeethroo wrote: When you preorder the new Zelda game, you get a bonus remake of the wind waker with the new realistic graphics.
Out-dang-standing. Sorry, but that's not going to happen. Take a closer look at that article. Notice how the screenshot is lacking several features, such as the rupee count and item buttons. Look especially at the date that the article says the preorder will begin. |

I actually thought Wind Waker was really boring-- I spent most of my time sailing around the ocean and pulling up rupees and heart containers. The towns and dungeons themselves were really awesome, but the sidequests were simply time-consuming. I was obsessed w/ getting all the pictures, and that just took FOREVER.. gahh-- But hey, a Zelda is a Zelda, so it was still way better than all other games. I really enjoyed Minish Cap. Zelda: Ocarina is also really nice. |

But hey, a Zelda is a Zelda, so it was still way better than all other games. I really enjoyed Minish Cap. Zelda: Ocarina is also really nice. My thoughts exactly. During the first 60%, I thought it was the best thing ever, but after that when I thought I had beaten the game, suddenly I have to find maps and search the entire ocean for little pieces of gold? No sir. The tedious task of combing the ocean, then dying from those annoying sea monsters just annoyed me to an extent, then I left it for the siblings. But like I said, the first part was excellent, though the cell shading needed getting used to. Tower of the Gods? More like.. annoying middle-of-the-ocean New Yorker filled hotel... |

I went to my local EB Games last night...and asked about the preorder. Frickin EGM lied! This isn't the first time they've done this, though. The EB guy told me about 20 other people have already come asking about it. Arg. Stupid. Dangit. I hate it. Sorry guys...I've let you down. *cries like a baby* Oh, but I still preordered the dang game. |

Back on topic: I rented Wind Waker twice, and I loved it. Of course, I didn't finish it, so I really didn't experience the entire game, but I have seen other people play past where I was, and it looked pretty awesome. 85/100 |

I love this game. Played and passed it thrice... erm, three times. Until LoZGC comes out, I am convinced this is the best GameCube game I ever played. |

I liked this game, but I have to say that both N64 Zelda games were much better. I'm really getting tired of the whole "We're exploring new styles for our games" crap. Seriously. We like old school! Give us realistic Link anyday! That is why I am so happy about the new Zelda game. Is there an approximate release date for that yet? I can't wait. |
