Just seems like a projector to me. That means that, unless you already own a huge projection screen, you'd have to project the picture onto a wall. And who has a 175" blank space on their wall? (I'm a picture-putting-up type gal, myself) It does say that there's an optional projection screen - which probably costs a fortune. I don't know, I don't tend to put any stock into anything that claims to be a "risk-free offer". |

As the saying goes, if it sounds too good to be true, it is. Basically they're selling you a big floppy fresnel lens to stick in front of your TV. As another saying goes, you get what you pay for. Take a look at this site for a discussion of such "deals" among A/V enthusiasts. |

There was someting with this in the refferal phenomenon. Just make seven refferals and get a big screen TV! I heard the deals actually work. Personally, I don't believe it. |

No, you're thinking of something else: FreeFlatScreens.com. It's the same company that does the free iPods. And yes, it does work if you're willing to work at it and waiting a long time, but despite the claims in their privacy policy they will sell your personal info. |

Guh. Scams suck. And here's the "beauty" of the scam. You get the item. It's $17, right? You find out you've been ripped off. But who's gonna go through all the paperwork to get 17 bucks back? Guh again. |
