Hi Guys, I'm sorry to sound like a bit a of a bum, but I was wondering if anyone had any hosting services or owned space. The reasons I'm asking is because I'd like to display all of my work (The banners and sigs) I make, and also include the .PSD's so people could try their own or edit them (with the proper credit). I'd also like to set up a bit more organized request line.. like an email address or something. I know there are free sites like imageshack, but its hard to keep all your work together and they don't host .psd's. DeviantArt is very strick on hosting certain files and file types. So if anyone is interested, I can help out finacially through PayPal, but I hate dealing with hosting companies. Hmm. 2 things. 1st, your avatar is too big. Even though hotlinking allows you to use larger sizes, we still don't allow it. 2nd, why don't you try using angelfire or freewebs or geocities or something like that? They have file dumping like any host. |

Angelfire has the little problem of making Hotlinked images just say "Hosted by Angelfire" i suggest a free webpage editor |

Is that better? A good friend of mine had a bit of hosting that he wasn't using, so now I'll be able to host all the images and .PSD's so people can edit their sigs as long as they give credit to the original. I've tried all the major free hosting sites, all of the dont' allow you to use off site links for some reason... Oh well. I guess you guys can delete this one.. |

JumbleCaper, if you're still looking for hosting, my brother-in-law and I run a little non-profit reseller hosting account. We get our hosting through energizedhosting.com. They've been pretty good to us, as hosts go. We split the storage (2 Gig), bandwidth (50 Gig), and cost ($19.99/month) between about 10 people. If you're interested, check out fellowsites.org |
