I love me compy. It's not the best, but it's purty fast. At least I think.

My broadband is 528 kbps. It rules, but the modem just froze a minute ago.

I plan on purchasing Flash (Education) in the future. And I'm going to get a laptop soon.

As crappy as my 'ol dell is, I love her so. She still has all her stock parts (other than the mouse).

Clicky.

Here are my stats:
Code:
Communications 4.5 megabits per second
Storage 546.7 kilobytes per second
1MB file download 1.9 seconds
Subjective rating Awesome

Heheheheheh....
But this is at the office.
At home however, I get, like, 28.8 KBPS max.
Crap.

I checked that bandwith test thing adn here are my results:

Communications: 2.3 megabits per second
Storage: 285.6 kilobytes per second
1MB file download: 3.6 seconds
Subjective rating: Great

I have no idea what that means. I'm going to guess that it's good, but I seriously have no idea.

I love my DSL, my Mac also has 1.8 GHz.

How do I test it?

Me: *clicks on "download"*

Computer: CRACKLESHHHHHHHHHHBANGBANGALLYOURBASEAREBELONGTOUSSHHHH

Screen: 0.00000000001% finished.
Estimated time: You don't wanna know

Heh, same here. I'm stuck with dial-up, so I have, like, a 56 Kbps storage. All I can do is dream of the day my parents upgrade to broadband...

I've got 384KBps DSL. That translates into a 48k/sec max download speed. I generally get 40k/sec from fast sites.

The OS wouldn't make any difference. I've used nearly every OS made for PCs on my test comp and all have been able to download at 35-40K/sec.

Yes, yes I am. That's mildly cool. What a coin-ki-dink.
