As an aside: isn't the phrase "unconfirmed rumor" a little redundant? I mean, if it was confirmed, then it wouldn't be a rumor, would it? In fact, the very definition of rumor is "unverified information". Does it make a difference if it's unconfirmed unverified information? Okay, I'm done now. Anyway, I wish I could be there, but sadly I'm trapped here in this cultural abyss. |
