Sooo.... how do we go about "campaigning"? Are we actually going to do anything, or are we just representatives of the cause? |

^That's what I was wondering. Hey, maybe we could get special "sig banners" to inform everyone of our intimidating presence! |

Ooh! Ooh! I'd like to intimidate ... in a nice, polite way, of course. Quick, someone make a banner! |

I just made one.
It uses the same colours as fahooglewitz1077's banner, but uses the Silkscreen and Helvetica fonts. Here's the code: Code:

Instead of the Phoenix, they have the Phonics, who died with the advent of instant messaging. The above quote is taken directly from the game. |

Last time I checked, "color" was the American spelling, and that to say someone was grammatically incorrect by spelling it in a different context was itself grammatically incorrect. |

Thanks for the banner! So everybody, I got mine, where's yours? You're not "cool" if you don't have one of these hot banners! |

I think your purpose here is noble, but I'd like to point out that while "A Campaign Enhancing Better Understanding of Correct Grammar" is technically grammatically correct, it's a really awful sentence. "Enhancing Better Understanding"? You've got to pick one, here. Either you can enhance it or make it better. But if it's already better, you can't enhance it. Also, I hate to nitpick, but isn't using Silkscreen at any size greater than 8 pts. kind of defeating the purpose? I mean, unless you're using it as part of a motif, it's kind of like using Impact at 10 pts. |

I hate helvitica. What about Tw Cen MT? Or Tahoma? Or even Courier would be better than this. Is that some kind of Macintosh thing? |

What do you mean by "Macintosh thing"? |

I was in a bad mood. And Helvitica is one of the default fonts on Macintosh that I see all the time, so whenever I see that font, that's what I think of. I like the banner. |

And +162 points for woddfellow2. Now that I look at the old banner, that does seem stupid. What about just "A campaign raising awareness about correct grammar"? Eventually we might wind up just shooting people down for bad grammar, but that's in the past, er... future. OFF-TOPIC:That's interesting, I can't gain access to my website. Shoot. |

I'd use it but I like my banner made by JumbleCaper. P.S. JumbleCaper makes the best banners, so maybe we should ask him for a banner. P.P.S. Use a Period! |

What about just "A campaign raising awareness about correct grammar"? I just made a version of our banner using similar text.
When I update the main banner, everything pointing to http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v326/ ... rammar.png will update to the new banner, thus for reference, here is the old and (as of this writing) current banner:
Update: I just updated the banner. It should say "A Campaign Raising Awareness of Correct Grammar". |
