But I have to say, I've been listening to "sleep now in the fire" and that's pretty good

Best song they ever did was "Bulls on Parade".

No, Evil Empire. Renegades is a "cover" album, all the songs on it were written by other artists. It's very good, btw.

Trust me, though. It is very, very well-done and definitely fits their style.
Here's a list of the songs they covered:

Microphone Fiend by Eric B & Rakim
Pistol Grip Pump by Volume 10
Kick Out the Jams by MC 5
Renegades of Funk by Afrika Bambaataa
Beautiful World by Devo
I'm Housin' by EPMD
In My Eyes by Minor Threat
How I Could Just Kill a Man by Cypress Hill
The Ghost of Tom Joad by Bruce Springsteen
Down on the Street by The Stooges
Street Fighting Man by Rolling Stones
Maggie's Farm by Bob Dylan

Don't like cover albums?! What about Me First and the Gimme Gimmes? All they do is covers, and they do the best punk covers I've ever heard. Coolguy, you totally should listen to 'em. Fat Mike + Guy from Lagwagon + Flying Vee guitars = musical genius.

Right on. Me First is wicked fun music.

I don't like cover albums from bands that would chance their style to fit the cover. Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies is a cover band, that's all they do and that's their style (and I think it's super cool that they have this band as a side project).

And I do listen to them they were in my sig untill the Agent guessed the answer, I also with their other bands; NOFX, Lagwagon and the Flying Vees.

PS. The guy from lagwagon is Joey Cape on occasion, they also took the Drummer from lagwagon for their recordings. Joey Cape also colaborates with Tony Sly.

Oh, I'm so excited that I have to post. I love playing Rage Against the Machine songs. Usually the main riffs can be easily played enough.
Bombtrack,
Killing in the Name,
Township Rebellion,
Freedom,
Guerrilla Radio,
Born of a Broken Man,
and New Millenium Homes!

What I'm really excited about though is having just learned the intro riff from the song "Mayonaise" by The Smashing Pumpkins.

Gah, after "Evil Empire" RATM went south. De la Rocha's vocals went from awsome to out of place regge. The self titled monk burning album is my favorite still

I'm actually going to have to disagree with you there. I don't own Renegades so I won't speak for that, but I think The Battle of Los Angeles is their best album. It's sort of tied with their first self titled album. I actually don't really love Evil Empire. It's good and all, but I think it measures up to the other two I mentioned.

I welcome SEAN'D to the SOAD lovers clan international (and no, this isn't another club I made up).

What's that? And no, it wasn't really random, it was to do with Chop Suey! a song by System of a Down, that is played on guitar.

Toxicity was good but System of a down's first album was better.

The more widely released self titled album with the hand on the cover or the self titled EP with such classics as ddevil and sugar?

I've been playing my Guitar for about two months now, and I have learned ten songs, I think. Of course, they aren't too good, but who cares, right?

Wrong buck-o, if you want to play in front of anyone outside of the family you better get 'em down perfect or they'll chew you out big time.
