I'm setting up my own Wiki for my site. When you get to root DB Password... How do you find that out? I'm using LightFyre hosting and cPanel X. Any thoughts?

I don't think you'll need to put one in. Leave it blank.

Try using your CPanel password as your database root password. Did you already create the MySQL database that you will use for MediaWiki?

Hate to be off-topic, but how does someone make their own wiki?

Ummm... Get a website, download MediaWiki, upload the MediaWiki files to a directory on your webspace, create a MySQL database, set up the wiki using the MySQL database you created (A simplified explanation; if you're actually interested in setting up a wiki I can give you more information).

edit:: Fixed my stupidity.

Ummm... Get a website, download WikiPedia, upload the WikiPedia files to a directory on your webspace, create a MySQL database, set up the wiki using the MySQL database you created (A simplified explanation; if you're actually interested in setting up a wiki I can give you more information).

Correction:You download MediaWiki.

Thanks, guys. I'm planning on making a wiki for my forums. Do you think I could make a wiki for my blog?

The only wikis my Fantastico offers are PhpWiki and TikiWiki, which are both not nearly as good as MediaWiki.
