In short: no.

Anyways, watching the Pats game. Came upstairs just in time to see Brady and Moss break the records, which is cool. I'm getting spoiled, though - this is the first season of football I've ever even remotely paid attention to, and even though it's the best the Pats have ever been, it's not phasing me. So if they do badly when I actually pay more attention when I'm older, I'll probably be angry that this type of stuff isn't happening.

Well, that's it. The Giants are going to lose. They gave the Pats a big time scare and I'd like to see how these two would do on a bigger stage.

Eli went back to being Eli. He played well early, then started shooting himself in the foot again. Typical.

The time system here is ridiculous. It said 2-something, and I posted at 5-something PST. So I misread it. My bad.

I'm as excited as you are, but you gotta admit that the Giants shot themselves in a foot a whole bunch of times.

Not really. They had plenty of chances. The only major mistake I saw was the interception to Ellis Hobbs, which ended up being the turning point of the game. I guess their clock management was pretty awful, though.

Yah', that interception made the game history it did. Great game though.

Patriots = Team

Patriots =/= One or Two superstars that lead the team

One or Two superstars that lead = Problem with just about every other NFL team.

No, I think the Patriots have a collection of superstars. Not just 1 or 2. They're pretty well rounded. Welker, Moss, Maroney, Faulk, Brady, Brady, and occasionally Vrabel on offense.

On defense they've got Bruschi, Seau, Samuel, Vrabel, Hobbs, and one or two more.

You know what sucks? The Giants have a better record than the Bucs but they have to go play in Tampa.

The Texans have made me proud to be a fan of them this year. They're building and have finished with their best record yet, and next season they're gonna be playoff bound.

Well, this wasn't a great year to be a Lions/Wolverines fan.

The Giants are going to have a tough time. Every team that's gone "all-out" on the Pats and given them a good game this year has fallen apart in subsequent games. See: Indy (vs San Diego), Philly (vs everyone), Baltimore (vs MIAMI).

My parents are watching a football game. And I'm not much of a football guy, BUT. If the Titans (Tennessee, lol) win, we go to San Diego to watch them play, which I want to do. I like San Diego and I like going to games, whatever type of game it may be.

Andre Davis is crazy. 2 kick return TD's today, 1 was 97 yards, the other from 104. If he's not in the Pro Bowl, I swear to god I will kill the voters.

Luck and a very POOR coaching decision from Colorado gave away the game. Dang it! I was hoping Colorado would pull off the win. It was so close, and I honestly think they would have if they didn't throwaway their last time-out. I guess all I can do is congratulate Alabama for finally getting a winning coach that they [s]can[/s] will keep. Lucky turd.

So the Titans won. I guess you're coming to San Diego.

Playoff pictures have been secured. Where did everyone's team finish? I know where mine did. ;)

Unfortunately it's likely we'll be playing Jacksonville in our first round, barring them steamrolling a season-long stumbling Pittsburgh. If the Steelers get through I will be very happy.

I'm actually kind of glad the Pats won't be dealing with San Diego (at least...unless SD beats Indy like they did earlier in the year). The Chargers' defense has really stepped it up; it's scary. Cromartie is an interception machine.

Almost had his eleventh today. Yeah, we've been an interception machine as of late. I was surprised today when I found out there was only one. I was even more surprised when I found out it was by #99 Igor Olshansky.
Cromart is quickly becoming my most favorite player on the Bolts right now. Speed, good hands, and already setting franchise records. Plus, you can;t forget the 109 yard field goal return he had against Minnesota.

What were the Colts doing last night besides slowing down their momentum going into the playoffs? Un-freakin-believable.

I brought this over from How ya Feeling because it didn't belong there.

The Giants, Ravens, Bucs, Raiders, Broncos, Falcons, Bears, Steelers, Jets, Eagles, Panthers and Bengals would all like to have a word with you.

Yeah but the one year they didn't win during that stretch was the year after their first Super Bowl win and why is that? It's because they failed the make the post season.

I think ChickenLeg's point has been more than validated throughout the history of the Super Bowl.

I still don't believe it. I think that curse stopped at the Panthers.

The myth is the teams that lose the Super Bowls have a bad ensuing season. The Steelers didn't lose a Super Bowl after the Panthers.

2 teams is not enough proof of its presence.

Aaaaaaaand what happened the other time? After they won their second they went straight back into the postseason and won the Super Bowl again.
