Communion - theSTART

It's about alien abduction. This is automatically awesome.

Strawberry Gashes - Jack Off Jill

For some reason, I love dancing around to this song, especially in the rain. :)

I'll go listen to that now. They are an excellent band (for the most part, the latest album had its ups and downs) and one of my favorites from recent times.

The Wrists - Toxic Waste

One of my favorite-ever bands which will be completely forgetten because they never did much past two great demo CD-Rs and a tight 7" (all of which should be safely archived by me). I mean c'mon, this is a lovesong based off The Toxic Avenger. Who doesn't think that's awesome?

Smashing Pumpkins - Tonight, Tonight

I always either prefer this over Today, or Today over this. Two opposites duking it out in my mind.

I know what you mean there. I finally made up my mind though that Today is the better of the two.

I'm just listening to some Mitch Hedburg. Right now he's talkin' 'bout Koala Bears. Greatness. LOL

Something off the Gurren Lagann soundtrack. Lemme switch to something a little more recognizable...

Ah, here we go.

Tromp le Monde - the Pixies

I have a LOT of their stuff on my computer.

With all of the Pixies discussion, I might as well chime in.

I don't listen to the last two albums much, Bossonova and Trompe Le Monde. They just don't compare to the classic status of Surfer Rosa and Doolittle. I love the Purple Tape, which I own all of the tracks from because they're on Come On Pilgrim EP and the 2002 release of Pixies, which had all of the other tracks.

To continue the Pixies discussion...

I haven't actually listened to his solo stuff or stuff with the Catholics. Any suggestions as to what album(s) I should get?

Let me think. Maybe FB&TC. Or his Self-Titled album.

Just Jack's album "Overtones."

Best tracks: Mourning Morning, No Time, Hold On, Life Stories
Worst tracks: Electrickery, I Talk Too Much, Symphony of Sirens

All in all, a great effort from Just Jack. 9/10

The Else may well be the greatest album ever made.
