I've got a great new sig I just created, but I'm waiting until Christmas is over before I put it up.

WRONG! Christmas is not over. It doesn't end until January 6.

Are you familiar with that old song, "The 12 Days of Christmas"? There's basis for that song in fact. The Christmas festival begins on December 25, but does not end until January 6, otherwise known as Epiphany or Kings' Day.

Of course, out here in the real world, Christmas is on December 25 only. ;)

No, it starts on Black Friday, THEN ends on December 25!

Christmas is everywhere nowadays, it's impossible for there to be no Christmas no matter who you are or where you live.

Only because the stores don't market the other 11 days. They know that by then you're broke.

However, once they figure out the potential profits that could be made...

I have 2 major pet peeves

1. People who don't pay attention or listen
2. People who don't capitalize things that should be capitalized

Yeah the 2nd one is kinda weird I know.

Especially since you didn't start doing it until about 2 weeks ago.

No I have been doing it WAY longer than that. When I write things on paper all words that should be capitalized are.

Here's a pet peeve: STUPID FORUM MODERATORS. Not anybody here of course. There's this one forum I've been going to where this moderator has been going on an inexplicable deletion rampage. He doesn't delete everything in sight, only 1) anything that goes even vaguely off-topic, 2) anything that is critical of him, no matter how reasonably it is phrased, and 3) apparently, whatever he feels like at the moment. He never explains his deletions. One of the other moderators there strongly disapproves of this, but has no control over the situation. Today there were two attempts to clarify the situation, the second one posted by me -- a regular and respected user there -- and they both got deleted. Sigh. Well, I've e-mailed the forum administrator and hopefully he'll see what's going on.

You guys are just now getting around to responding to this? I thought we already cleared this up a few days ago.

PEEVE: Trying to get my SAT scores.

I am in the process of transferring to 4 year schools and since I am only going to be able to transfer about 47 credits, I am going to need my SAT scores from 5 years ago. I think I may have them lying around the house somewhere, but I would like for College Board just to send them to me.

Something i hate is the deplorable condition of the bathrooms at my school. the locks on 3/5 of the stall doors in the school are broken, So i can practically never whiz without worrying that some arse is going to deliberately open the door. Plus next to no-one flushes either...For the sakes of people named pete, do those guys even wash their hands, either?! Oh, well...I'll leave them to learn their lesson the hard way. (and the hard way IS a excellent way to learn lessons. Much better then sitting at desks doodling for 6 hours in the first place)

Taking a whiz is what the urinals are for.

And why should nasty public bathrooms bother you? You have poopskin!

Then you wouldn't be someone I'd refer to as a man.

Manliness: standing next to other guys while urinating

If you're afraid of it, it proves the lack of said manliness.

It's not fear, it's inability to get the waterworks going ANYWAY

My very conservative friend hates Black Sabbath and REM for being "too liberal." I am not joking.
