I think my biggest pet peeve is when I am walking through the halls listening to my iPod, and someone comes up to me and yoinks the headphones either out of my ears or out of my iPod.

That just seems childish. Seriously, that's something a 10 year old would do.

And yet, people still do it.

My cat chewed on my old A/C adapter like that. It still worked, but it got really really (really) hot at the end after a short time and I was always afraid it would catch on fire eventually. Luckily I found one just like it on eBay for 15 bucks.

Peeve: When noobish posters in the forum makes a thread and talk about something, and somebody disagrees with them. They make a perfectly understandable argument, and that noob asks them to clarify. Even when the person clarifies, the noob asks them a million more times to clarify.

Would you clarify that for me? I don't understand what you mean.

the shops who are too cheap to assemble the furniture, so they call it DIY, and try to make it out as a benefit.
1) every peice you hammer in, one always falls out.

2) once they''ve told you to fix something permanently, they mention that you should have put a vital part inside it.

3) when you've put it together, it's only going to fall apart the next day.

it does that for me in the new tab, but it doesn't affect the original tab for some reason

Gonna rant about these people who think they can't hike or bike without all the latest gear. Gotta have the trendy boots, Leki hiking poles, the camelback, gaiters, polypro wicking underarmor, smartwool socks and seal skins waterproof over-socks (not really made from seals), the latest sunglasses... and that's just what they're wearing, not what they've got packed up. And if you don't have all that stuff, you're some kind of caveman. Same with these stuck-up bicycle types who ride around the area covered in spandex, with their completely similar sunglasses and expensive helmets and racing bikes. I don't even know why you need that spandex thing. And why are they all sold with ads already on them? It absolutely boggles the mind. Who are these people? Why can't they just go for a bike ride? Why can't they just put what they need in a backpack and go for a walk in the woods? My bike's the bike my parents got me when I was 13, you know the kind, the not-really-a-mountain-bike bike, and I ride it all over the place no problem. When I go hiking, sometimes I don't even bring shoes. That's a bit extreme, sure, but these are able-bodied, young people who don't need all this extra crap. Still, they couldn't possibly be seen with a single piece of the uniform missing. OK, that's enough. X-(

Well, I guess that my family and I are cavemen, last summer we hiked up Guadalupe Peak all we brought was water, Gatorade, wooden walking sticks and sammiches.

In fact, to prove I was there, here is a sideways picture of me there! That yellow thing in the back is my dad. worst 9 1/2 hour hike ever!

People who lie to make themselves look better. It's so annoying. Does it do anything for their self esteem? Does it comfort them to know that their relationships with other people are sugar coated? As I said earlier, it's so annoying. Living behind a mask is no way to live.

One of my friends is like that, except she tells us the most unbeleiveable things about who she knows online, especially since she still talks about what they've been doing lately, even though her internet is down right now.

You know what really grinds my gears? "Techno".

Why do people talk about techno when they are talking about the entire genre of Electronic music? Techno is just a sub-genre, you know.
Nowadays, people seem to think electronic music is all about Trance, House and Rave and the only kind of stuff they hear in the mainstream media thinking "So this is techno" is something by Basshunter or Madonna.
And where does all this lead to? Well, every once in a while, some idiot pops up somewhere, says electronic music is just stupid monotonous dancefloor music ("Techno sucks") that doesn't require any talent and, while he's at it, promotes his own genre.

Those kind of people need a serious cinderblock treatment for their face.

Peter Griffin? :p

Seriously though, as an electronic music fan, I have to agree with J-Man. (but some people can be really nitpicky about genres, IMO)
