iKi, in regards to those kids, you should have let your hair attacked them. The survivors (if there were any) would never do that again.

At school we're making a board game, and I contributed some funny stuff. But everybody else was like, "No!" We had to think of a China based theme, and I was like, "How about something like you have to save a puppy!" and hilarity ensued. But then they asked me how it was Chinese, and I said, "We could make it so you have to rescue it from a dragon!" and they were like, "No, the Chinese dragon is nice and stuff, Chinese dragons aren't evil" and I was like, "Who cares" and now it's all boring.

Hopefully, I'll be able to incorporate Stalin.

Oh, and I hate the new ytmnd search thing. Unlike the last search, it just shows sites at random instead of highest rating to lowest rating. And then after you click back, it says the page is expired. Grr.

Yeah, but if you don't search from the main page, it searches like usual. It does that from time to time.

Peeve: When people ignore me because I am not a mod.

This is not the first time I have spoken out about this, but I hope it is the last.

Yesterday I toastpainted the Gabbly thread hoping that it would end the Phillip argument. But it didn't someone had to go and ignore my toastpaint to get in their final two cents. I find it very disrespectful.

When someone toastpaints a thread whether they are a mod or not, you have to follow it. If you have something else to add, don't.

M'kay?

Yeah, um, that's... not... true... at all... while I do agree that the whole Phillip thing should have stopped in that thread, you can't just say "Toastpaint" anywhere and expect it to be set in stone for everyone to listen to you... mostly because of what you said, you're not a mod. That's why we do pay attention to StrongRad - he does, in fact, have authority.

The thing that you gotta remember is that when Seethroo said it, it was a joke... I'm pretty sure he wasn't even an admin then.

In short, don't try to claim power that you don't actually have.

Ehh... I disagree. They really don't have to do anything.

In the case of the gabbly thread, they did have to stop, but that's because a mod told them to, not you. Toastpaint isn't an order, most of the time it's a suggestion. As long as the topic being toastpainted is still relevant to the thread, a toastpaint doesn't mean anything until a mod tells them to cut it out.

The reason I toastpaint something is to prevent people from saying something that they are going to regret.

Regardless, that doesn't mean they actually have to listen.

It might be a good idea to stop this little BTG/TEF war that seems to be going on. Seriously.

BTG, please don't pretend a mod when your not one. When a mod toastpaints, something, it means knock it off. You can either take it to PM's, or just let it be. We rather not have any hatred on this forum. So please, don't go complaining when someone "breaks" your Toastpaint.

Now that I have that I've gotten that out of my system, Toastpaint.

You know SG, with some people on here, that might not be the best thing to say around them. As for the zipper, try to see if a tailor can fix it or something.

When editors at Super Mario Wiki ignorantly code Koopa as [[Koopa]] as opposed to [[Koopa Troopa|Koopa]], thus directing the user to a disambig page. I hate that.

If you don't listen to someone who's trying to stop problems before they start, just because they don't have "authority", then you're kinda being part of the problem.
If the toastpaint person is BTG, you should probably listen to them. Most of the time, I will be reading a topic that's off its tracks, and right when I get to the bottom, before I get a chance to post that it needs to get back on topic, I'll often see that he's already said "toastpaint."

Quote:

Telling other members how they should or should not behave seems to be claiming power you don't have..

He's been here a while. While I may not always agree with his methods, I do usually agree with his intentions.

Further discussion on the topic will now take place over PMs.
And now: Captain Bread and the Toastpaints!

I hate how in Friday the 13th cartoon episodes, the one person who isn't superstitious ends up having a whole bunch of stuff happening to him/her. That's like forcing you to believe that superstition is real, and that you HAVE to believe in it. :-S
