Don't expect the day you enter you'll have tons of friends, it took me till January to befriend anyone.

Alberto, you are absolutely right.

Juys, Seethroo once called me "t3h m0st p0pul4r noob 3v4r!1", but it still took me a LONG time before I actually made any connection with anyone. Don't worry about it, you'll make plenty of friends.

It was annoying enough to see this ( perhaps more fan-based) metrosexual/yaoi thing in Anime (not that I watch it) and surrounding games like Final Fantasy VII (Cloud/Sephiroth *shudder*), but unfortunately the trend has now reached Homestar Runner. Urgh...

Last time I checked dA seemed to be filled with H*R related pictures and novels featuring this stupid trend.

Just my two cents.

I hate it when you talk to someone and you say that you like a band and they have only heard one song and they hate them.

Example (Green Day isn't usually the one but I'm using them for the sake of example):

Me: Do you like Green Day
Person 2: Heck no! Boulevard is the worst song ever!
Me: Well, there are other songs by Green Day. And Boulevard is Green Day's worst song.
Person 2: Yeah, but I hate Boulevard with a passion. I just can't like Green Day.
Me: Have you heard any of their other songs?
Person 2: No, why would I listen to the same band who made Boulevard?
Me: None of their other songs sounds like Boulevard.
Person 2: They better not! Boulevard sucks! And so does Green Day!

To not be a hippocrit, I have made a solemn vow to listen to at least a few more songs than one of a band I hate before I say I hate them.

Or even the older stuff, like Nimrod and Dookie. I too can't stand people that judge a band on one song. It's like saying that Simple Plan is an emo band because of "Untitled".

They are, just listen to the rest of their songs.

You're missing the point. I'm saying that if all you've heard of Simple Plan was from the YTMND Suicide fad, and you said that "Oh, that's an emo song, so they must be emo." That's what I'm talking about. Whether they are or not is the issue.

Pet peeve; that little sound at night that isn't usually there, so it keeps you up half the night.

It gets annoying. XD Like, if there's an owl at my house, there never usually is, but once there was, it's hard to sleep because of it's "hoo"ing. XD

Me too. But mine are usually my dog barking or the sounds of what I keep thinking is someone breaking into my house.

How about coworkers who HAVE your phone number?

"Hey, Kate, it's Jonny Sneakington from work! Can you cover my shift tomorrow? I know it's 11:34 PM right now, and you have to come in at 4 AM because it's a dang coffee shop, but it'd be pretty awesome if you could cover for me! Oh, and if you don't, the rest of the crew and I will avoid speaking to you for the rest of your employment. So, uh, gimme a call back!"

Oh I've done that before. Horray for coming in at 8am and leaving at 1030 pm! What fun!

Peeve: Vending machines that don't chill beverages.

Today I went to a vending machine to get a Mountain Dew. I needed my morning pick-me-up. I get the soda from the vending machine and IT IS WARM ENOUGH TO BATHE IN!!! This is a new machine they put in last week apperently they forgot to set the thermostat to something colder than room temperature.

Well that, or it could have just been recently stocked. Maybe you just have really bad timing when it comes to those kind of things.

I hate it when I'm watching some chick flick with a girl, and it's one of those "sad" parts, and my eyelid gets an itch, so I scratch it, or my nose gets stuffed up, so I sniff, and everyone's like "Awwwwww, he's crying!" That ALWAYS happens to me.

Longest run-on sentence EVER

God, I hate that to. I would add more to this post but there really isn't much more to say.

I hate it when you got really cold and shakey and cry because you're really tired, so you go to the office and sleep for a while.
Then you are sent to see the head of middle school, and he's all like, "no you can't go home because "i know you've had a tiring weekend but if you look around, lots of people are a bit tired."

A BIT TIRED?
i was more than a bit tired.

But then the girl thinks its cute because you're in touch with your feminine side. So it might work out...

They were warm last week and the guy who stocks the machines comes in at noon on Tuesdays.

Ohhh! I hate that! Especially since I'm uber paranoid, I get it a lot.

Acht! The forum is going slow, and YouTube and Myspace aren't working for me! Sure, the forum is easily escapable, but my 2 favorite time wasting sites on the internets are down!

MySpace isn't really bad, I felt dirty and disgusted when I made mine but now I kinda like it. I only get on once a day to see if I have anything new, and if I don't I lave, I am on for maybe 30 seconds a day.

Peeve: Having to pee on a road trip.

IT HURTS SO BAD!

That was my opinion until I got it. It's just a log on for about 5 minutes a day for me. Unless I'm browsing for music artists (That is what takes up the majority of my time on myspace).

It's really not all that bad. It's the people addicted to it. The people who say, "Do you have Myspace?" or, "I saw you're new pic on Myspace, you are so adorable" or, "Have you taken a look at my myspace yet? I uploaded about 700 Youtube videos, 386 Myspace videos, 192 games, all 12 of my pics, added a new song, and updated my profile at least 15 times! It is so cool!" Are the ones that kill you. It's not all that bad.

From what I've experienced, it's horrid.

Sorry, but you cannot convert me.

Have you tried it? I just don't like it when people judge before they try. If you have tried it then it is okay.
