This is when it falls into the "endearing quirk" category. It only falls into the peeve category when I'm looking for that freaking Depeche Mode: The Singles 81>85 CD or Holy Crap where on earth is the Harry Connick, Jr. Come By Me CD.

If you don't know what you're looking for, it's an adventure! If you are going after something specific, it's a pain in the butt.

I'm currently peeved that it seems that everytime I buy something, it seems to go missing. Every time. I swear, I think gnomes are stealing them.

Yeah, that always sucks. Especially when they are expensive.
Apparently, my mom won't even use two seconds of her time to send an email to the family telling them what I want. Sounds like another year of presents I'll end up throwing away again.
...yay.

I hate it when people insist that you choose the resteraunt when eating out, but you have no idea what you want to eat. Especially when you have no preferrence at all and they want you to choose a certain place.

Yeah, and then you all stand around for 10 minutes, no-one wanting to decide on where to eat, but are getting really hungry. It quite sucks.

Man, that JackSpicer character guy's sigs and avatars are totally tearing down the Green Day fan connotation I made. With the supporting the "new" Green Day and whatnot, while I supported the old punk Green Day.

I know his opinions might not neccesarily be mine, but he's showing favoritism in everything that everyone hates about Green Day.

One of my pet peeves is people 'fake' laughing. Someone says a dumb joke, but they 'crack up' at it. It's so fake! AGH! I love it when other people laugh or I make them laugh.

Yeah, fake laughs suck. But when you can reviel that, and make a joke about it, it will lead to real laughter. I do that all the time.

The absolute worst thing is when someone says that they have no preference, they don't care where we eat. Then you say, ok, let's go to Such-and-Such Place, and they are all, Nah, not really in the mood for that. Ok then, how about This-That-and-the-Other Restaurant, you ask. I'm not sure I'm up for that, they respond.

OBVIOUSLY you have a preference, you just don't want to tell me where you want to go.

It doesn't happen too often, but when it does, it seems like they all bunch themselves together.

Like whenever you are in a great mood, and emo music come on?

Solution: Don't ever listen to emo music. XD

People who log in to instant messengers but are always away. Why the heck do they even bother keeping the program on their hardrives?

there was some tiny kid (i think he has that Gary Coleman disease) walked up to me and said "i pwn you!", and tried to slap me, but he failed. what a loser.

plus, i hate it when people call you an emo because you're feeling sad.

most of what i wrote:
sad people are sad. emos pretend to be sad, and make a big deal about it to get attention.

Well, Adium, the client I use, doesn't make me idle when I don't use the computer for a while. So when I'm gone I just stay available when I forget to go turn on an away message. It becomes a problem when people message me and I'm really not there and they're disappointed.

When you think of something, but when you NEED to say it, you forget, same with when you've got something, and when you need it most you can't find it. :|

I really hate it when someone says something to you, and you can't understand it, so you say "what?", and they say it again, and you still didn't hear it clearly, but there's no way you're going to lose face by saying "what?" again and sounding like some deaf idiot...

...this happens a lot...

God, that's me all the time at work. My manager mumbles all the time, and he's really hard to decipher. And then when I ask him to repeat that, he acts like I'm deaf and he speaks perfectly.

Oh man....I do that ALL THE FREAKIN' TIME. And sometimes I take the risk and say "What!?!" once more, and they just say "Aw, nevermind" and won't tell me.

Peeve: No pizza places or drive-thrus are open late in Huntsville. Sure, they all advertise themselves as being open "late", but midnight is not late. 1 AM is closer to late, but still not there. I really don't see how one can not get food at 2:30-3:00. People work 24 hours/day, and they need to eat.
With the things in Huntsville (Redstone Arsenal, 2 major universities, Marshall Space Flight Center), you'd think there would be more pizza places, McDonald's drive-thru, Subway, etc. open later than 1 AM.
In my hometown, which is essentially in the sticks, Hardees' drive-thru was never closed!

Well, usually he's asking me questions like "Did you clean out that stove? Did you cash out that person?" Those type of questions aren't usually answered by an ok.

That's nuts that no place is open that late in a city with universities. I can't count the number of times I went to Beto's at 3 in the morning when I was in college. I guess you could go eat at Denny's though. That place is always open, and the food is never as disappointing as IHOP.

Peeve: IHOP. It always sounds delicious, but when you actually go there, the food is always disappointing, and it costs a fortune.

Dennys is awesome. Cheap, delicious food. I wish there was one at least relatively close to my house. (Not sure where the closest one is, but it's pretty far)
