Well, I have a laptop now...

It's quite alright, one day we we'll all have our own personal computers.

I've stopped changing my status for everything except AIM (Since it does it for me). It's just annoying having to do it each time you get up for a minute for 2 or 3 instant messengers.

Yes. You have no idea how painful that is for me. i'm in Physical Therapy for it.

And JT, about contacts, they hurt most of the time, unless you're putting in brand new ones. That's the only time theyn feel nice.

I have two.

1. The HeadOn commercial. Need I say more?

2. Our boat isn't working. I think it just needs a new motor altogether as the current one is a 1979 model.

You should write a book. That's hilarious.

Personally, I would reccomend Gaim over trillian. It supports MANY more clients, and I think the support of those clients that trillian does support is more thorough in Gaim. That's just my opinion, though.

I used Gaim for a long time (a year or so), after having used Trillian for a long time (two years or so). I liked Gaim, but I eventually switched back to Trillian. My chief reasons: Gaim is somewhat buggier and a huge memory hog and I consistently had show-stopping problems transferring files with Gaim.

Concerning networks, Trillian supports the big four (AIM, MSN, Yahoo!, and ICQ), and Trillian Pro--which ain't free, but is pretty darn cheap--adds Jabber (which includes Google Talk/Gmail Chat) on top of that. Yes, Gaim supports a few additional protocols, but I bet you there's not a single person on this forum (for example) who uses any of them.

Gaim is a fine client and props to you if you use it (yay OSS), but I sincerely feel that it's inferior to Trillian, and particularly Trillian Pro.

Eh, I don't use either anymore. I've used both before, and preferred Gaim when I found it, but eventually just switched back to having two separate clients open, as neither client supports the more specific features - like MSN Games - of the other clients.

PP: What's with all the blatant racism in Youtube? Seriously, is it just me or is that place full of narrow-minded idiots who blast ridiculous comments especially on videos emphasizing on different ethnic aspects?

Also, I'm a fan of a Star Trek fan parody called Star Wreck. This is what I just bumped into on their forum:
http://forum.starwreck.com/viewtopic.php?t=2017&start=0

So, in the movie, a dictator (who's, infact, the main character) with superior technology takes over the world. A very satirical and parodical propaganda film is then made (in the movie), supporting the dictator and his armies.
And now this guy gets all worked up because the invading forces destroy the Statue of Liberty and invade the States in that short propaganda flick. That's not even the whole point of the movie! Seriously, some Americans, or some people in general, need to grow a thicker skin. No wonder some people in the world are so negative towards the US...

Peeve: Adverts. I think you crazy Americans call them 'commersials'.

I understand that a channel has to make money, and this is the easiest way. I am okay with that. But why, oh why, does every channel have to have them on at the same time? Hundreds of channels all on breaks.

Commercials.

This is very easy to answer. If Channel X had commercials on at a particular time and Channel Y didn't, people would flip around during Channel X's commercials and potentially see something more interesting on Channel Y and stay there. Since that's the very last thing Channel X wants, they change their programming so that their commercials start and end at the same time as Channel Y--so if you flip around to Channel Y, all you see is commercials, and are more likely to come back to Channel X. Basically, this process has taken place with every channel at once, and has become so entrenched that shows are now produced around this commercial schedule.

In the last year some networks have gone a little rogue and started changing their shows' start and end times (e.g. so a show starts at 6:58 instead of 7:00) in order to break out of the ad cycle and to capture viewers who are flipping around during the after-show commercials on other networks. This has fallen somewhat out of favor, in particular due to Tivo owners (and old-school VCR tapers) getting upset about missing the first or last couple minutes of their favorite shows.

I was wondering if any other dog owners go through this : My dog seemes to love to bark at nothing in the middle of the night the second before I finally fall asleep. After searching through the house three times, I go back to bed, only to have her do it again. It happens about three times a night, every dang night.

Okay Rammy, questions.

1) What part of the house does your dog mostly bark?
2) Does she bark near/looking through a window?
3) Does this part of the house have a mirror or any glass?
And 4) By any chance is she sleeping when she's barking?

Star Wars Battlefront II's online gameplay is broken, plain and simple. Why? Rockets, Detpacks, Mines, Thermal Grenades, Mortar Launchers. All of them ruin the online game, wouldn't be cool if you could just have a battle with blasters in Jabba's Palace? But nooo, I have fight against idiots with rocket launchers. That doesn't require skill. Who cares if you can fire a rocket in my general direction? I care about how many times you can put a blaster shot in my head. Sure, maybe I should be a class with Rockets, rockets take forever to load and are not very good in fast firefights.

I have only had one such occurrence of an exciting and enjoyable fight, it was on the Death Star, Droids against Clone Troopers, yes I know, impossible. I was having a hard time trying to capture a command post, I experimenting with classes and I chose Assault Droid, a Rocket launcher class. I took an alternate route to the CP, I had run into an enemy clone, he also being a rocket launcher class. We had both dispensed all 7 of our Rockets. We both switched to pistols, just at that moment it became enjoyable. We threw the 4 thermal detonators between us, we were stuck with using blaster pistols. We both would get a shot on each other and then our guns would overheat. Finally during all that he missed one shot giving me the advantage, finally I got a few more shots on him, killing him.

She mostly barks either in my parents room, or the hallway. She doesn't look outside unless I wake up and I'm already looking outside. There is no mirror in the room that she could look at. And she's not sleeping, she'll move from the bedroom into the halway. She's been doing this only recently. She does at times lightly bark and growl in her sleep, but these times she's lodly barking. It might be because of her old age...

Mr Tang: No. God.
