But my peeve is people complaining about the heat. It's not that bad. All I have heard this summer is "OMG. SO HOTT. PUT ME IN SHADE PLEASE. I'M BURNING AND DYING. ARRRRGLLLBLGLBLBGLBL!!"
It's really not that bad. And I live in SoCal, and it has been pretty hot down here. But I'm not complaining. I love it.
iKi, I've been to LA, and let me say that California heat differs from North-eastern heat. Here is it very muggy, and heavy. In California, it's dry, so even though it may be 100 degrees F, it may seem like 90 to a Northerner. It's a big difference.

Oh, I know there's a difference. There's basically NO humidity here. Humidity adds like ten zillion degrees, and I know that. But, it was raining right before this heat wave. So. The humidity here is actually pretty high. And, it is still raining, every few days. So, the humidity keeps rising. I love it. Everyone else is dying and complaining. It's just annoying.

Well, this heat is finally getting to me even more. It's making me so quick to temper.

Well, that's because I'm under a lot of stress. Not including school, something very important is happening Friday. My older brother is getting married, and I'm his best man. It's now just really sunk in. I was trying on the tux today, when I noticed that a button was missing. Great, another thing I have to do. It also doesn't help when I'm near choking because the I have a kinda big neck, and the shirt doesn't compensate for that. God, this is going to suck.

PS : I still don't have a date to the wedding either. Would any ladies like to go with me? I'll pay for your travel here! Come on! Help a ramrod out!

Well, considering the fact that a real estate agent in my area died on someone's porch from heat stroke, I don't think it's much of an exaggeration.

You live on the other side of the country. I don't think you can judge how bad it is here based on the kind of heat you get in California.

When you live in a state that gets snow every winter, you don't get used to the heat. And when you live in a state that rains often, the humidity is always really high. And since it doesn't do that in California, you really don't know what it's like here.

Well, I live in the middle of California and it's ALWAYS FOGGY. I mean, I love it, but the hotest days of the year fall around Octoberish.

Heck, I haven't felt snow in years and I'm not used to this!

Yeah, I dislike that, too. Not sure why, I just don't like people watching what I'm doing.

I can't stand anyone being in my room. For that matter, I can't even stand to have other people in my house. Like, even when I have friends over, it feels discomforting. I guess it's just territorial instinct or something...

My pet peeve? NOT GETTING ENOUGH SNOW.

I live in the freaking west and I BARELY even visit places with snow/processed ice made from toilet flushes in them. The last time I saw and felt snow at the same time was when I was FIVE years old, somewhere in, oh, I dunno, LAKE TAHOE.

Me too.
My pet peeve is when customers at my supermarket use "hey you're tall!" as an introductory phrase instead of "excuse me" or "hi." I'm being used. :D

I despise it when people gloat when they win at something. They have every right to celebrate, but they don't need to tell you that they creamed you and "that was so awesome when I turned it around, and KO'd you just like that!"
But I'm not perfect, I'm a bit of a sore loser.

Hey, if they celebrate, but get back on to what their doing after, that's fine. But if they spend an eternity doing it, yes, it is annoying.

Yes, Cleverdan and Prime time. I HATE it when people do that! I have a friend, and one night we stayed up the whole night playing Pikmin 2, and I beat him most of the time, then I got bored and I tried to lose :p But then, the next day, he was like, "Dude, I beat you EVERY time at that game, you suck!" and then, you can't say "hey, you're not great. i just wanted to leave!" because they will just say "you can't even admit that you suck."

I'm not a big fan of crap jokes, either, but at least he's got a sense of humor. Constantly calling other people immature is a pretty strong indicator that it's your maturity-meter that ain't as high as it could be.

Edit: TOTPD! Image Image Image

Does MySpace even have guts? I think "I hate it's code" would be more fitting.

Good idea. I hate its code, then.
