Peeve - Lending people money.
I don't lend friends and stuff money, but my family.
It peeves me, because I work for me, to make money for me.
Not to be a bank.

augh. i gave my friend a roast beef sandwich for 2 dollars and he never payed me back. he said he would give it to me, but in the end he just didn't want to.
he never understands why i refuse to get money the next day.
not to mention letting someone hold something. i decide to trust them, but they run off. and of course, there's trying to sabotage whatever you're holding. i use my friends iBook, and every day the same braindead retard comes and presses the power button, and still doesn't realise he will get kicked down there every day.

Has anyone noticed that sometimes this forum will run redonkulously slow at times, and at other times it will run super fast? It's making me wonder...and kinda annoyed.

I've noticed that, too Dormar. With my internet connection, it's kinda hard for me to tell if it's on the forum's end, or mine.

I notice that too. It was going unbelievably slow for me yesterday.

See, In Gunbound, you get 100 gold if your teammate quits. And the 'quitter' loses 100 gold for being mean.

Sounds like Holly... Well, ok, so she doesn't pee on my rug or barf all over the place, and she doesnt' climb onto my lap, but she does snuggle herself into forgiveness... I mean seriously, who can stay mad at her?

Yep. Yesterday it would take about 4 minutes to refresh the page. But every so often it would run normally.

The more stories I hear like this, the more I believe cats are sociopaths. They do whatever they want and then manipulate you into not punishing them for things like clawing your face off by cuddling and acting cute.

You think the cat really loves you? Nah, he's faking to get away with [s]murder[/s] face-clawing.

Once my cat climbed up on top of the bathroom door (in that apartment, there were lots of shelves on the wall right near the door for her to use as steps) and then freaked out and couldn't jump down. So I stood on the toilet and tried to get her (I'm pretty short) and she clawed my lip. That freakin' hurts.

If she did those first two things, I'd really wonder why you wanted to marry her, no matter how cute she is. ;)

15 day? Man, these are getting shorting by the minute. Whatever happened to the good old month long, or even two month long trials?

I personally prefer the usage trials. Like, the ones that let you use it 30 times before your trial is up. Then, the days you don't feel like using it aren';t coutned towards you, and if you use it, just keep it on all day so if you need to use it again, it'a not another use.

And to think, all this time devising strategies for exploiting trials I could've been earning money to buy the product...

Have you tried uninstalling the trial and reinstalling it? Sometimes you can get away with that if the trial doesn't put something in your registry. (I didn't say that)

It didn't have any way to uninstall, so I, um, deleted it all and tried to download it again, but it just "repaired" it all and then told me that my trial was up.

Grr.

Can anyone suggest any good, free GIF animators?

Peeve?!?!?
My brother.AGAIN

Just a second ago he came in my room, shoved the mouse off me and said. I wanna check something.....While the others internet connection wasn't working.
And to get me off. He grabbed my neck. And pushed me on the floor, half choking me.
Then a few minutes later he left....Not after walking ALL his weight on my leg. My leg still hurts.

We've been cat-less for about a year now, and we keep thinking about getting a new cat. But I want a cat without issues, which I don't think exists. My wife's family had 3 cats, one that belonged to each kid. Each of them had all sorts of issues. Following is the cat rundown:

The story of Baby Cat (my wife's cat): This cat has terrible allergies. She constantly sneezes all over the place, so you have to always be on the lookout to clean up cat snot off of things. Because of her allergies, you have to catch her and give her allergy medication daily. Then she got cat diabetes from taking the allergy medication for so long.

The story of Frankie (her brother's cat): This cat cannot figure out how to use a litter box. She apparently used to know, but now I guess she figures she's part of the family, and feels like that formality is unnecessary now. They tried everything in the books to retrain her, replacing the litter twice daily, putting tinfoil over the spots where she goes to pee, replacing carpet and carpet pads and scrubbing the dang cement, everything.

The story of ummm, the other cat (her sister's cat, can't remember the name right now): This cat is a jerk. The first two cats have issues, but they are generally nice to people. This one bites and claws at anybody who comes near. Small children from all over know her as the "Mean Kitty." She also throws up a few times daily. On the couch, on the floor, on your lap, on the bed. She has no preference. But I learned quickly when visiting not to walk around a room at night without turning on the lights, to avoid walking barefoot through cat barf.

All of the kids now are grown up and out of the house, and each of them have had a turn living away from home. Our issues with Baby Cat got to the point where we just couldn't take care of her anymore, and we were going to have to have her put to sleep. The other kids all got to that same point with the other cats. However, my mother-in-law is a big softy who, rather than let us put all these dang cats to sleep, took in all the cats again. They all live outside now, so her house isn't a mess of snot, pee, and barf, but now they are taking care of three cats that weren't even theirs and surely aren't nice to have around.

So after that lengthy sidenote, I'm not sure I want another cat, because I don't think there is any way to reliably get one that isn't completely nuts.

Peeve: The dump for brains on Williams Street that decided to bring back Pee Wee's Playhouse. Whoever it was needs to be dragged across fine grit sandpaper, through lemon juice, then dropped into a leaf shredder. This is, of course after having each and every single hair and nail in their body removed one at a time with pliers.

I would rather hear Ted Stevens talk about the designated hitter rule and how it applies to net neutrality that watch that crap.

topofsm, you've been redeemed. In this thread anyway.

Peeve: I made some glaring spelling and grammatical errors in my latest sig, and it would be really hard to fix them.

EDIT: I just got off my lazy butt and fixed it. It was bothering me.
