My peeve is lack of sleep. Since I was driving cross country this past week, I didn't have much time for a nice rest. I got maybe 6 hours of sleep each night the entire time.

don't say it. i have told him that i can finish a meal. it's because of my sister.

I don't know if you Aussies have something similar (or know the term), but you should get a full serving and make a "doggie bag" of whatever you don't eat.

I usually do that. Anymore, it seems like restaraunts try to fulfill our daily caloric needs in one meal. There was a time when I could eat a full 3 course meal and still be hungry. Nowadays, I usually eat about half to 3/4 of what I order and get a to go box for the rest. I heat up the rest the next day at work for lunch. That way, it's like getting 2 meals for the price of one, and/or getting a good meal without having to cook.

Oh yeah. I'm all over the doggie bag. The only thing is, if you have a meal with fries and you know you won't be eating all of it, eat the fries first. They don't heat up well (in the microwave, anyway). Pasta is the best for heating-up stuffs.

Peeve: Soggy French fries.

Doggie bags are gifts from the heavens.

I'm not sure what it's like down under, ready for primetime, but here in the U.S. portion sizes have gotten so out of control that even if you can finish what they bring you, you probably shouldn't.

I've noticed that, too, Jones. It's like someone goofed up and ordered plates that were too big, so instead of bringing you a half empty plate, they just cram more food on the plate. Then, the plate gets full. So they go for a bigger plate. Then they look at it and say "we can't take a half empty plate out there! Put more food on it!!" What the crap?

Well, at least we can get two decent meals for eleven bucks. Although if you go somewheres with salad and bread included (East Side Mario's) you can sometimes get three meals out of it.

Peeve: Seeing all these holidays in the holiday dictionary and wanting to start a new one. I really really want to, but I'm not even gonna try. The forum will hate my guts, and I don't want that.

Must. Resist. Urge. AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!

Yeah, but I still do anyways. It's a curse. I have noticed though that my appetite has shrunken significantly since I was a teenager. Back in high school, I could singlehandedly finish off a large pizza without any regrets. Nowadays, when we order a medium to share, there are a few slices leftover. Also, most places I don't bother "Super" sizing anymore, but that isn't so much because of hunger, it's mostly because the fries at most places just aren't that good, and you can get refills on the soda.

There are some places where I finish off the full deal, even when I know I probably shouldn't. For example, Chipotle. The burritos are 1 1/4 pounds apiece, and they are absolutely delicious. Add some chips and salsa, and I leave stuffed every time. I just can't help myself there. So I guess it's good that the nearest one is 30 minutes away. Also, when I go to Steak 'n Shake I never leave without clearing my plate. So if I look at the calories for my regular items, I'm eating 1173 calories for the Frisco Melt, 1279 calories for the chili cheese fries, and then a good 824 calories for my side-by-side large strawberry banana shake, and in one meal I'm looking at an unhealthy 3276 calories of absolute deliciousness.

Peeve: Now I'm hungry and don't know whether to go to Chipotle or Steak 'n Shake.

You can't go to Steak 'n Shake now... The sun's still out..

Chipotle, but only because you don't have a Moe's.
My favorite thing from Moe's has a whopping 1200 or so calories. That's not including the drink and/or the chips and queso. Boo-urns.

Oh yeah, like you didn't cry as a baby. I'm sure that you just explained to your parents "My diaper has a bunch of $%^&ing $^%& in it, b*****es."
Unless you learned to talk right after you came out of the womb.

My Peeve? When the forum's completely a-buzz, then things slow down to a stop. And you're hoping someone posts something, so you keep hitting refresh, no one does, because they're too busy hitting refresh...

Well...that's sort of how we spell. I don't think I could handle that, seeing as this is my favo[s]u[/s]rite way of spelling. It's like getting mad at me because green is my favo[s]u[/s]rite colo[s]u[/s]r. Now if you don't mind, I will be going to the cent[s]re[/s]er of my town to see a movie at the theat[s]re[/s]er.

The internet at my house was acting up earlier. I loved it when I told them I could not connect to the internet, so they tell me to go to a certain website. Ahh, gotta love tech support.

One word. People who say I have no friends, even when they know I have friends. That and people who believe that everything has to be PC.

Atrocious grammar (spelling if not verbal). Double negatives in particular.

i find it slightly annoying when people don't even know what a Mac is. seriously, people at school have no idea.

another slightly annoying thing is when i have the internet windowed but stretched full-sized, i try to click the scroll bar, but it gets the resize side of the window and smallens it.
