In the last awards, all I needed was a second for my best poster nod and I would have had it. I never self-promoted myself over it. Granted when I didn't get it, I overreacted quite bit, but I will never promote myself over it.

And remember, if you don't get a nod now, there is always January.

That's why I'm parodying it in my sig :p I really don't care if I win anything or not, it's just an award, people still like you, right? Atleast I hope they do :p

EXACTLY. Thank you, BTG. You said exactly what I was going to say.

...Of course, that kinda makes me a hypocrite since I told them to "remember the Bible" in one post in the awards thread, but I wasn't going to let anyone get away without recognizing it.

Listen, people. Telling the rest of us to nominate you or one of your threads for something doesn't influence us at all. Or, if it does, it might keep the people or threads that deserve the awards out of the running. And if you just have to, have the decency to keep it in the awards thread. I'm sick of going to threads where almost all of the new posts say "Someone nominate this!"

Maybe there should be some kind of rule or disqualification against it.

I don't think disqualification is in order, but if I get ANY PMs saying "vote for my thread" or whatever, you can rest assured I will vote against it. :-)

Peeve: People who leave (insulting) messages on the internet about situations that don't even involve them and then don't even claim their opinions. Thanks guys, I'm the one getting the blame here.

Then don't read the PM that I just sent you. ;)

Peeve: StrongRad mentioned it in another thread. People bashing video game systems that haven't even come out yet. You don't know anything about it, so don't say anything.

Yeah, that probably sucks or something. :P

No I'm kidding, that's horrible. I doubt anyone like that uses the word "pretty"...... I'm pretty sure they use...... worse..... ones. Yeah. You know what I mean.

Yeah, I'm sure I can't say what people like that would normally say about a "pretty girl" (in their view she's "pretty"). But yeah, it's much worse. And I utterly despise it.

Two words: BAD SPELLING. I mean, come on! It's ridiculous! People who are obviously many years my senior in this forum spell worse than I do! What are you people getting taught in school anyway? How to not do homework??? You're all great people, but seriously, LEARN TO SPELL.

I'm glad I've got the spelling fanatics like Ramrod and Jello B. on my side here. We're fighting a losing battle, I'm afraid.....Image

Sporky, I couldn't agree with you more. True, I make a few mistakes, but there are just those that just don't learn.

I could name one person who didn't learn anything, but the Clan thing's been overdone.

However, when it comes to SPELLING.... there are several people who never learn anything. (Cola........ alberto, who is still cool...... and some other people.)

Yeah... I have to say bad spelling drives me insane. Especially when people mix you're/your, or their/they're/there.

THAT ABSOLUTELY DRIVES ME INSANE! HONESTLY! WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE THESE DAYS?

What? Alberto always spells stuff right. He just never capitilizes stuff.

Calm down, grammar man.

Would you like to define "never"?

I'm sick of these Winterfresh commercials.
Tring to copy the awsome style of classic Group X flashes...

Peeve #1 - being incredibly bored.
What can I do?

Peeve #2 - this terrible cold I have.

Peeve #3 - my sister's dog. So so needy and it pulled a tissue out of the bin and started pulling it to pieces. It also makes noises that sound like a cat.

Have you ever bought a new product, only to have it break the moment you take it out of the packaging?

I bought some kitty bookends yesterday, and they broke in half the moment I took them out.

I'm going to return them, and get a new set.

my peeve?
whenever dad takes us out for food, we always have to share. yesterday, when we went out to a fish and chips shop, dad made us share a serving. even on my birthday, i wanted to go to a chinese restaurant and he made us share. i wanted lemon chicken with fried rice, but because my sister has absolutely no taste, i had to get pork bits with steamed rice. seriously, i'm not 6 years old anymore. i can handle a full serving.

Have you tried talking to him about it? Because that would help, I assume.

What a mizer. Miser. Mizer...Miser... HOW DO YOU SPELL THAT?

There's my peeve: Not knowing how to spell a word, or not knowing what a word means when someone else says it.
