Well. I'm gonna play through the pain for the rest of this current season. And the rest of this season is only two more games. I've tried having it fixed before, because it broke for the first time when I was nine, but it only healed half way, and I just rebroke it last week.
Yeah. I was going to go out for Freshman team, and I would have made it too, since I play catcher. But. I just can't. I don't want to put myself in a position of daily pain.

Maybe you should just lay off of it for now, don't play those games.

Well. I would. But, I can't. It's the [s]championship[/s] champeenship. We have to win the next two games to win the [s]championship[/s] champeenship. And I am the cleanup hitter, and I am desperately needed at catcher.
And I would go through physical therapy. I want to. But I see no way in it helping and healing me. It only worked 50% the first time. What's going to make it work 100% this time?

You need to sit out til you're 100%, no matter how bad they need you. I present to you the case of Chris Marcus. He was a Center for Western KY University's basketball team. He hurt his ankle, and would come back as soon as he could walk, then he would re-injure the ankle, sit out for a month, come back before he was ready, get hurt, and sit out another month... The lesson is clear. You come back before you're ready, you're gonna get hurt worse.

Thanks for the concern guys, but.
I've been playing with it half broken for five years now.
I played two games today with it completely broken. I just want to win the champeenship. And then. It will be offseason. And I'll think about doing therapy.

The important thing you have to think about it "will playing with it broken permanently screw something up?" If so, sit it out. Champeenships are important, but so are things like walking and not having chronic pain for the rest of your life.

Well. I wouldn't have problems walking, since it is the growth plate in my shoulder.
:)
I know this is my last season playing the game, and I want to win the champeenship. Badly.

The walking was just an example.. I suppose "moving your arm" might have been a better statement.
You certainly seem determined to play. I can certainly understand not wanting any "what if?"s.
Since I can't talk you out of playing, you're gonna be in my prayers, man (that you don't do any further damage). Go get 'em, tiger!

The growth plate is basically the area of developing tissue near the end of the long bones in children and adolescents. Each long bone has at least two growth plates: one at each end. The growth plate determines the future length and shape of the mature bone. When growth is complete—sometime during adolescence—the growth plates are replaced by solid bone

OMG Jenny!

I love looking at your's and Mu's Deviant Art sites. It makes me wish I was artistic. I don't know why people seem so against slashy art. I love them.

well thanks guys. i do try to do my fair share of non-slashy type arts as well to balance out stuff. i don't think it's good for someone to get stuck in a rut and only draw or do one kind of art. diversify! :D

what upsets me is if there is someone with a diverse gallery and they get ripped on for the content of only one or two pieces. that seems to happen more often than it should :\

just recently, a good flash animation was made and put up on the front page of albinoblacksheep.com. then, just a few hours later, the flash was on eBaums front page, not watermarked, but the copyright taken off. the guys down at ABS even acknowleged that it had been stolen from there.
that Funk is gonna pay for this and the page calling to SA.

i hate crappy stick figure animation, not naming anything. wait, yes i am, The demented cartoon movie. if i ever meet brian kendall, i'd.....uninstall flash off his computer. plus james heitman, the annoying kid who sits next to me in italian. he also makes stick figures kill each other for no reason. but, his are extremely more amateur. and immature.

I'm peeved at Metroid Prime: Hunters. All of the hunters should be avaliable for multi-play from the start!

For some reason, the forum cannot load from time to time. Fox says it's taking too long to load the page. Has this happened to anyone else?

YES! VERY YES!! And I usually suspect it's because there's too many users on the Wiki, but I can't always be sure of that.

Hmm....it really started happening after I downloaded the Grease Monkey thing....

It usually doesn't last too long either. I hit refresh a few times and it's fine. But a few days ago I couldn't get on for a long while because it was taking too much time to load.
