So today I'ma peeving about having things thrown at me. I told my mom to pass me some magazine thing. What does she do? She *throws* it at me. Seriously, I had the life-flashing-before-eyes thing. Wham, straight into my face. I now have a popped (I have no idea if that's the right term) lip. Ah, motherly love. |

Peeve: The mosquitoes are already getting bad. Usually they reach they're peak in the middle of the month, but this year we've had rain followed by heat followed by rain. Bad combonation. |

True, true. At the moment my class is learning about racism. In english. We have to act out the worst play in the world. Here is a line from the play: "This is my song?" and here is a song from it: "We don't care for your dispair, While we've got the sun. We don't care for your dispair, We don't care for anyone. This land is am empty land, Empty mind and heart. This land is a lotus land, And we all play the part!" Now imagine that being sung by a teenage boy, in a beyonce type way, with bad guitar and the occasional recorder solo. Yeah, we decided to make our performance as ridiculous as possible, to spite the teachers. ANYWAY my pet peeve at the moment is my brother. A short while ago he said to my mum when she was picking him up from school, "Are we going anywhere?" "No" "Fine, it's not like we're a FAMILY anymore!" So, what, are you the victim here? Who's the one who's huband left her? Who's the one left with three kids to support with our dad taking all our stuff? I HATE HIM SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Why in the world would anyone have difficulty seperating one person from another? It's either "I," "you," or "he/she/it." Are your teachers afraid that you might actually learn something? Peeve: people who give you detailed descriptions of movies or things they did in a video game. "So I was playing Age of Empires II yesterday. And I dug a tunnel and I had like FIFTY men it was so exciting and did you ever hear anout Ghengis Khan? Well you're stuoed for not knowing everything he did well he led the Mongols into CHina but he died so his son continued is conquest he was stopped though and Kyle wake up why are you falling asleep?" Ugh. |

Did you try just cleaning the ball (if it's one o' them types)? That might help. |

Or maybe not just the ball (assuming it's not optical) but also the little tracks inside. My olde mouse had problems like that, and I'd always take out the ball and scrape the dust and stuff off of them, and that seemed to fix things up. For about a week -mind you, we had a crummy mousepad. |

no. the ball and tracks are as clean as ever. but one track has been disconnected from the cord so it doesn't send anything to the computer. the only one that works it the horisontal one. |

Here's an idea: Contact some geeks in your area and see if any of them have a spare. I'm willing to bet that most of them have replaced their simple two-button rats with trackballs, wirelesses, blue tooths, etc. Heck, I've got a spare wireless one, but it might cost too much to send it to Kangaroo Kountry. |

The whole June 6 thing has been bugging me for a while. People, NOTHING'S GOING TO HAPPEN! Slayer's kicking off their tour, & the remake of Thre Omen is coming out. That's it. |

Current concern: The ESRB. Why is it that they sometimes forget to list content in a game that's obviously there? My brother bought a military game last week ( that I didn't want him to get ), it was rated T for violence. After playing the game, we found that it had over 7 swear words in the game and a scene where you shoot someone going to the bathroom. I just wish that the ESRB would list everything. |

Yes. They're expensive as crap - even more expensive than regular wireless. But I don't even like wireless mice - I prefer trackballs. |

This is why I love my Apple mouse. It's wireless, optical, and all it is is one giant button. It's also my peeve, though, and that's when it goes through batteries too quickly. grammar edit'd! |

Yeah, for sure. The Botfriend has a wireless mouse and a wireless keyboard, and he goes through rechargables like they're going out of style. Peeve: Having to work at 8am tomorrow. |
