Welcome to the real world, Ian.

Trust me, I wish I could tell you it gets easier, but I can't.
You're right. My parents told me to put "flexible schedule" on everything from now on, then iron out the details if I get an interview.

That's pretty much what you gotta do. Unless your parents are restricting your hours, you should work whenever they want you to. If you can't they find someone who can.. It sucks, but that's how it goes.

Well, I'm pretty mad about something. Myself and a few friends were supposed to kleave for Orlando tomarrow. But one friend at the last munute backed out. We now can't find another to go with us. So we planned on going to Toronto. But unfortunately none of us has a Credit Card to book a hotel. So more than likely we're going camping somewhere in Canada. If we can find a spot to go. It's getting way too confusing.

Peeve: This freakin' heat. It's so hot not even my butter caramel Iced Cappucino can do the trick.

A redundant pleonastic tautology?

I think I spelled half of that wrong...

Well, how about an IJ that's more wasted than usual?

In this heat, I think many a man would lech an iced cappucino.

It's amazing what a good cold water current will do for climate. Bazooka Joe, take notes. You will be tested.

So I've been buying this three-dollar face wash at Wal-Mart for a while, and it's controlling the ol' zits pretty well. (I never had acne when I was younger... it's hitting me way late. Awesome.) So I figure, "Well, if the three-dollar face wash controls my zits this well, imagine what the twenty-dollar face wash will do!"

The twenty-dollar face wash pretty much made my face explode. I'm zittier than I've ever been. What the crap!

Face wash.... I don't think I use it properly, because if I ever apply anything to my face.. POOF! My skin is peeling so much I look like..... Someone with really peely skin, and I have pimples too. RIDICULOUS!
But I don't have terribly bad skin, lucky me.

Something annoying me at the moment? Uh...
Hmm...
People complaining about teaching methods at my school. If they don't like it, so what? I don't like it either, I don't go complaining about that, at least. I deal with it, I try to do the best I can. Usually, anyway.

In regards to the first problem, you need to check which type you're using. Some facial washes can't be applied in copious ammounts, because when it goes to suck up the oil, it takes away too much, which equals dry, peely skin. Going to The Body Shop will help. Look for something you can use daily.

And you are talking about me directly in the second one aren't you? ;)

Anyway, I just feel that if I am not learning, I should be. In the long run, school is there for you to learn things you need to know for the future. If you're not learning, what's the point in even doing it?

Bah, just my two cents...

Just... nevermind. I can't get the message right. So whatever.

Oh, and I have taken to not using face wash now, because if I use the teeniest amount, my face looks like a desert. I guess I'm just hopeless, aren't I?

Hey, at least your pimples aren't invincble like mine. I can scrub them with soap every night and use 2 diffrent kinds of medication and it won't get away. My Dad says it is because I let my hair grow out, and that the hair is keeping the pimples alive by keeping it sweaty and greasey, even though I shower everyday. Is that true? I really don't want to cut my hair...

Well, that depends. Does your hair get in your face a lot? You could do a little experiment and keep it tied back for a few days and see if that improves anything. If it does, your hair might be the culprit.

There might be a grain of truth to that, Lu Bu. I've always been lucky and relatively acne-free, even through my teen years. But since I cut my bangs last year, my forehead has been kinda oily and I've been breaking out there. And I also wash my hair and face every day. I don't know what kind of hairstyle you have, but as IJ said, if it's in your face a lot, it might be responsible.

Thanks for rubbing it in. It's supposed to be warmer today than it was yesterday. It looks like it's going to be in the 90's again. The humidity is going to be deadly.

I happy where I'm at. Cause in Kentucky everybody is pretty nice, and where I live it's not hick-ville or anything. That, and it costs like a third of as much money to buy a house here compared to everywhere else. Hm...and I'll experiment with that. Even though my hairs not too long, just pretty shaggy.

The bad thing about long hair in Kentucky is that you're hard pressed to find a job (at least in Eastern KY).

As for the pimples, I don't know that it has ANYTHING to do with your hair because I had problems with them sometimes in high school when I had no hair.

Still, either way, good luck with the zits and it's awesome to have another Kentuckian on the forum.

I have the same problem *sometimes*, usually I just get more of my fair share of blackheads and whiteheads.

Two things that work are this: 1.) get sick, and tank up on antibiotics, and since that's not a feasible option, you might want to try 2.) drinking a ton of water - it flushes out your system. Try at least one or two Nalgene-sized bottles of water a day, if that's not too much.

You live in eastern Kentucky too? I'm in Richmond, it's kind of close to lexington and EKU is in on it.

My sister uses this stuff called 101E, and I've started to use it, too. It seems to work pretty well. You should try it.
