We have no chance to survive make our time.

The forum and Wiki seem to be fine now. I still haven't a clue why it was acting up though.

New Peeve: My correctly spelled namesake. I don't know if the squirrels in this town are getting fatter or what. They use my roof as a main thoroughfare daily and normally you just hear a little pitter-patter, but lately when they jump on the roof it sounds like someone's chucking bricks at my house. Also this bird keeps chirping at 5:30 A.M almost every morning right outside my window. Nature can really suck sometimes.

Peeve: People who insist on haveing loud conversations in the computer room. You know there are people that are trying to work and the last thing they need to to hear a group of people carrying on a conversation that could be heard in China.

On a positive note, an extremely attractive brunette just walked in. I hope she sits next to me. ;)

Peeve: my Latin class.

For starters: the teacher. I'm afraid if anyone accidentally touched her, she'd crumble into dust. At a conservitive estimate, she's 75. Not to mention her annoying habits. She has the most whiny voice I've ever heard. "NOVELS AWAY PLEEEEEEAAAAASSSE! I'm going to bannnnn them!" Believe me, I've had a teacher who looks and sounds exactly like that southern lady who makes a lot of desserts on the food network. But her voice does not compare to this teacher.

And the lessons. We spend three days going over homework assignments that are five sentence translations. Of course, we can't just translate, can we? No! That would mean we'd have get things done. We can't have that, now can we? Nope, we have to examine every word, even though it's the exact same function as the one in the last sentence. Sometimes, (read: always) when someone asks a question, we take an extra day to take notes on something everyone already understands.

This is the only class where I've seen people walk through the school to see if the teacher is here today, risking detention. People pray that the teacher isn't there - if she isn't, we just do some quick work. But that means another three day routine. We've completed three full lessons in this entire school year. And, of course, the other languages get to do interesting things. The Spanish classes have had three parties and two projects. A party would kill our teacher, and "project" is a swear word in our classroom.

Sorry for that, but I've needed to vent for a while.

A 16 year old girl in my class did not know what "brawl" meant. I wish I was making this up.

Yeah. And that type of stuff happens.All.Day.LONG. That one was just the dumbest one I could think of.Here's some more:

[watching original To Kill A Mockingbird}"Wait, is this in black and white?"

[half way through Lord of the Flies] "I thought Simon and Piggy were the same person!"

[reading Shakespeare] "Is this in another language or something?"

I mean, the girls who said these are really nice people, but they are just DUMB.

I was hearing about Oliver Twist in this other class. Since it's old english you have to look up about every other word.

New Peeve: Some kind of think my brother downloaded. I go onto task manager, and it takes up 100% of the CPU usage just to go to a different page on the site, and I log off his user, and it immediately goes down.

He is one of those Neopet types, but I don't think he does it much anymore. I think he downloaded something called "Incredimail", and it wants me to get it on my user. I erase it, and it pops up again telling me to install it. And he put an old program that took part in killing a past computer.

I freaking hate MSN. MSN messenger won't sign on for me. Because of that, I tried to reset it by retyping my email account and password in. I can't remember my password though. The help e-mail is being sent to my Hotmail account, which is useless, because I cannot access it because I don't remember the password. God, I freaking hate MSN.

Uh... Oliver Twist was written in 1838. That ain't Old English, not even close. Old English disappeared around 1100 AD. 1838 places Oliver Twist firmly in the realm of Modern English.

You know what annoys me? I'm pretty good at math, but when it comes to picking the people for Accelerated Math, they pick the ones who always do their homework, but have no chance in comprehending the material. Just because I don't do homework as much as them, I'm stuck in the easiest classes on earth, and they just whine about how hard the math is. It's not that HARD though, they're just NOT SMART.

Another peeve, is my mother removing my Scout Book from the normal place so as to keep everything "neat." I was running in circles yesterday, because I was going to get a royal ton of things signed off today, including the ever-elusive First Class Cooking, but my mother has to put my book in a box, in a cabinet that hasn't been opened in years. And she expects me to find it there. :(

Ooh, I think I has the solution: Do your homework.

Read Rule #1.

Peeve: When my English teacher hands back papers she talks for 5 minutes on the paper. Shut up and hand the freaking papers back, I want to know my grade.

You're complaining that you're in an easy math class? I would have loved to be in an easy math class. I'd rather be the big fish in the little pond than be the trout in the ocean.

God, Ninti, that's the same thing as my grade....(me and two of my friends make fun of them when they aren't looking like this:
"heyheyhey you wanna go eat some sandwiches up?"
"sure. you bring the peanut butter and jelly, and I'll bring the bread."
"i'll pick you up in a few seconds. kay bye."

...which always amuses all of us.)

Ugh.

Okay, so since Monday, we had a huge homework assignment. In gym class.

Since when did you get homework in GYM class?

Anyways, we have to pick a group of four, and type a huge assignment on a certain sport. I got with my three best friends(in this class.) We decided to fo flag football. Today, my friend (Sword Stalker) got a buncha papers off of the NFL website I can use for the thing. I volunteered to type, seeing as I am the fastest typer in the group. Yesterday, I asked one of my friends to call me and tell me what I needed for the rough draft. And gyess what? He does nothing at all. Heck, he's the only one that did nothing at all, and after I typed up TWO HOURS worth of stuff, he's going to get a good grade anyways.

Grr.

While were whining about youngin's having relationships, I will too. So get this, Paul from our class as the kind of guy who fly-kicks the gingervites and pushes them over the rail of the stairs. He get's a girlfriend, BAM. He is a quiet person who stands by the wall of the school all day.

Women have amazing power over men. We will change our actions just so we look good for them.

My World Studies teacher.
All he does is hand out worksheets, give us time to fill em out, have us trade 'n' grade, gives us a study sheet, dismisses the class with 10 minutes left to go, then quizes us the next day.

Hmm. Peeve: Analytical Trigonometry.

Honestly, I'm not interested in proving that the sine times the cosine of theta plus one equals the tangent of theta. Or something like that.

Also Peeve: Inept student teachers. My English class got a student teacher in February. We worked for a while on a poem, Everyman, and then we started Macbeth. We started Macbeth on about March 10. We just finished Act III, out of five acts, because the teacher can't control our class, which is full of jocks and the popular, kinda ditzy airhead-type girls that every school has.

Meanwhile, the other Advanced English class finished Macbeth in November, in one week.

No it doesn't! I kinda liked analytical trig. It wasn't my favorite, but it was pretty easy for me. Geometry, on the other hand, was Boring with a really capital B.

UPS. Yes, there's a reason that they're uniforms are brown: BECAUSE IT'S THE SAME COLOR AS WHATZIT!!

This is twice, TWICE in the past few months that UPS has lost a package for me. Last time, back in January, it was a box of goodies from my mom (including a batch of her famous Cheese Cookies - teh yumminess!). But then a whole freaking month goes by, and nothing! I call the UPS center, they have no clue what could have happened to it, and their system showed no record of the package. Then another month goes by, and it ends up back at my mom's house! Of course, after 2 months of sitting in some warehouse somewhere, or on somebody's truck left out in the hot sun, those goodies probably weren't any good anymore. And the cookies were nothing but crumbs, anyway!

And what about their latest escapade? I order a $300 coffee machine (a really nice one - self-cleaning and everything), and what does "Crap Color" do for me? THE IDIOTS LEAVE IT ON MY FREAKING DOORSTEP! A $300 DOLLAR PIECE OF EQUIPMENT!! And was that piece of equipment waiting on me when I got back from the conference I was attending in Jackson? THIS IS GREENVILLE, MS! YOU DO THE MATH! To add insult to injury, all the jerk had to do was leave the thing at the leasing office, RIGHT NEXT DOOR!! So that was $300 buckazoids flushed down the toilet, which, from my perspective, is exactly what I wish I could do with Brown right now!

So what does Brown do for me? LOSE MY FREAKING PACKAGES, THAT'S WHAT!!

My peeve is the wrestling fans as of late. I mean, come on. Cena pwns, people.

I suppose the only good thing about all this is that they're gonna get him to turn heel. And then, the freestyling begins anew!
