Inuyasha fangirls, they won't shut up, with their yipping an yapping "WEN WIL INUYASHA ADMIT HIS LOVE TO KAGOMEA?!?!!1?/". With their bad grammar and spelling. I bet if that show was to completely end, the ratio of pre-teen deaths per year would increase 10 fold.
If this continues(and it will) I'm going to declare a jihad against the unholy fandom!

My current annoyance? There is this girl at my school who is terrible depressed and not wanting to live, and she had this GREAT guy who really cared for her, and she dumped him. For some crazy reason.
She could be so much more positive about her situation in life, but is determined to make everything bad! I mean... She could be a little nicer to people for one...

Sounds like some rather severe depression. While it's difficult to deal with her, sounds like she's having a really rough time and could use some kindness, if not more professional help.

But see, there's the problem. People are nice to her. But she is determined to hate everyone. When she did become close to someone, she panicked and backed out.

Yeah, she needs professional help. Unfortunately, her parents are the most uncaring creatures in the world and want nothing more than to be rid of her. I just don't know how to fix her situation. Maybe if people had been less cruel to her in her last school...

That sounds pretty typical of someone in that category. If you're concerned about her, you should talk to your school's guidance counselor about it. He/she will be able to get in contact with her parents and hopefully get her some help, and you can probably do so anonymously.

My peeve now consists of the smokers at my school. Now, I'm not going on an anti-smoking rampage here, but as soon as I walk outside, a huge cloud of smoke hits me dead in the face. It seems that half the campus is outside taking a cig break. I can barely see there's so much smoke out there.

Amen. Smoking sucks. Very few habits invade others' personal space as much.

Your rights end where mine begin, smoker. You can mess with your own body all you want, but when it affects MY health, it's time to step in and do something about it.

I want to agree with you to an extent, but at the same time I know this is not the time nor place to have a debate over smoking.

Drudging up an old peeve here...

Couples who can't resist...groping each other in public. Much less school. Please, people, contain yourselves. There are some of us who don't want to see you touching each other.

Kids MY AGE do that...

Anyways, my school is doing something really stupid. To pick up your kid, you have to go through three lanes of traffic and it narrows out to one lane. They make you sit in the halls and wait for your names to be called. You can't say a word. My mom and my siblings waited in the car lineup and halls (respectively) for 30 minutes. My older brother, who's at the middle school get's out at 3:00. We got there to pick him up at 4.

Crazy.

Interim Reports.

I can see why they send home report cards, but why do my parents need to know how I'm doing in the middle of the term? If I were doing badly, couldn't the teacher I'm doing badly with call home and get me in less trouble than my parents seeing a bunch of not-so-bad Bs and getting me in more trouble? I mean, it would save me some grief, f'sure.

Another is people who just can't stop talking.

All the popular people, plus my little brother, just don't seem to want to stop talking. Whenever I'm in my happy place, one of them walks in and talks so much, so loudly, that I just want to beat them.

Another is people who stand around with bleached blone in Lazer Tag wearing Disturbed shirts, and instead of shooting anyone, they alert everyone on the other team to your and his prescence by screaming "I'M THE REAL DEAL" and dropping loud, and awfully done beats to every rap song playing.

This one is at one particular kid, who I would have shot repeatedly had he not been on my team. I just felt like screaming "SHUT YOUR GOD F***ING D*** FACE OR I'LL F***ING STRANGLE YOU." But I'm working on anger control, so I held it in. I just gave him a swift kick in the behind after the game, which we lost due to the amount of times he got shot.

Grrr.

I thought I had it bad in middle school. That's definitely the worst school getting-picked-up situation I've ever heard of.
And about smoking, I was in the mountains a couple weeks ago, and the air felt really good and clean, and I had just finished running. Then some guy totally ruined it because he couldn't put his cigarette away for even ten minutes.

My Flash plugin that keeps crashing in Firefox for no good reason.

Pond underlayment that costs way too much when there's no other good alternative.

The city shutting down one of the towns main streets for most of the summer. "Don't worry,we'll be done in July! *cough*or late August*cough*.

OK, you will think this as horribley annoying too. I know you will. Ok, first, a teacher at my school thinks that Wikipedia has all false information. Second of all, people at my school are all ... wierd. In a bad way. And this will make you hate them; they hate Firefox and Homestar Runner. And probably Bonus Stage too.

Ugh, If I were you I'd give that teacher a REALLY true article from the site. While telling those kids this question.
"Oh yeah, have you even watched it? Who's the guy who checks e-mails then!"
And for firefox, leave them. When they get a crappy internet connection they can just cry all night because it's slower than a 19th century locomotive.

While most of your teacher's fears about Wikipedia are unfounded, it's undeniably true that Wikipedia isn't completely accurate. If you're writing an academic paper Wikipedia is good for getting a general overview of a topic and for finding other sources, but like any encyclopedia it doesn't make a very good source itself.

Peeve: Extremely, extremely protective parents. I have a friend who's 15 and didn't know what a prostitute or some of the swear words were. But I guess a lot of this does have to do with the immaturity and ignorance of kids today. I also had a friend who didn't know how babies were made when he was 10. I'm currently 11, and companions of mine who are the same age as I deny being attracted to girls yet.

Then I tell them, "Aren't you like three years behind the curve or something? Jees Louise."

My Intraweb's causing me grief right now. Aside from a grodily slow forum, it won't let me open up (at least, not very well) my aim mail, and I would very much like to email a somebody.

Odd. The Forum seems fine to me. A little slow, yeah, but not that bad.

Well, yeah, it is mostly better today, but it's just enough to be annoying, know what I mean? (Plus, if there's pics anywhere, watch out.)

I'ma assume you're using Firefox; It punked out on my AIM mail, too, a few days ago. Now I've got to use IE on it, and there's a peeve right there.

Also, um... Furbys. I hate them.

*sigh* I wish I had Firefox... Nope, I'm using Safari, although I'm trying to get the all clear to install Firefox. Indeciciveness, now there's a peeve.

And furbys are wierd, too.

Wow. This scares me, sort of. I mean, I'm not going to pretend that I was an ignorant little angel when I was a kid or anything like that... But I think it's a little weird to be 11 and attracted to girls. In any real way, I mean. And as for the 3 years behind the curve... Being attracted to girls at age 8?!?! That's ridiculous.

Personally, I think kids grow up WAY too fast nowadays, for the most part. Just look at the clothes little girlies wear - way more revealing than I would wear even at age 25.

There's a fine line between maturity and immature pretension, that many people unfortunately just don't see.

I'm not sure what the "right" age for that to happen is (if I remember I'll ask my genius psych. major girlfriend), but I know that I was Al Up Ons at a very early age. Too early, I think.

The scary part is that it's becoming really difficult to tell the 15-year-olds from the 20-year olds anymore. Like dangerous difficult. Like [s]InterruptorJones[/s] some unspecified person goes to jail difficult. Eep.

Well, I wouldn't call it a fine line, but it's sometimes hard to tell the difference, and that's very unfortunate, especially when you get kids who think they're soooooooooooooooo mature when, in fact, they're just brats. I've long held the opinion that the more mature a person thinks they are, the less mature they actually are. It's a tad paradoxical, though, 'cause if I think I'm mature it makes me immature but knowing that I'm immature makes me mature and so on. *MY HEAD A SPLODE*

Kids in my class who claim they're "going out". We are too young to know the meaning of a real relationship. It's merely a crush, that's all. And they think they're sooo mature. Argle.

So what if he doesn't know what a prostitute was and some swear words? That's not a bad thing at all. It makes you no more mature to swear, or, to like girls early, etc. In fact, in my eyes, it makes you look like a moron. I have no problem with liking someone, really I don't, but when you start calling people immature for not being attracted to girls, it crosses soooo many lines. So what if he doesn't know how babies were made? Did you ever think that maybe his parents wanted to wait until he was older? EVERYONE MATURES DIFFERENTLY. One more thing. So they don't like girls yet, eh? Well, I have a brother who's fourteen, and he has shown no signs whatsoever of being attracted to girls. That doesn't mean he isn't, now does it?

And when do such mature people say "Jeese louise."?

:P

Not to be mean, but you don't seem so mature yourself.

Hey, I'm immature sometimes, AND DANG PROUD OF IT.

:usa:

Oh, and about the girls in revealing clothes- You guys are absolutely right. Girls in my class wear skirts that when they bend over.... Ew.

*yawn* Sorry, I'm feeling quite whiny lately...
