Peeve'd - getting warts frozen off.

If you've never had it done before, here's a blow by blow account:
Nitrous oxide hurts on your skin, not only at the time, but for at least 2 hours afterwards.
The wart, plus the surrounding skin turns a lovely shade of red.
Then, several hours later, the wart plus other surrounding skin seems to expand and get bubbly and gross, that if you knock it, it halfway comes off, then you have to pull the rest of it off, which leaves an attractive sore.

The best way to get rid of warts, or almost anything that you don't want, is mentally. Think about them going away or healing, and they will. Just 5 minutes a night does it. It worked for me. People have even been cured from cancer, partially due to a positive mental attitude.

I hate the school. They cancelled the talent show.
Me and my guitarist have been practicing our song for about 5 months to perfection as our first public gig. And now the school has to kill it. I am so f'ng mad. Gah, I'm never gonna be cool at my school.

Dear television,

I could hear your programming just fine while viewing my program. There is no need to turn the volume up 100 decibels to tell me about Listerine.

Love,

My Peeve: Canadian Geese. Now, this isn't a knock against anyone living there, but I reserve most of my non-happy thoughts for those buggers. These geese hang around the river where we practice for crew, dirty up our docks, and take up space on the racecourse and upriver. That and other things, they just drive me and everyone else on the team batty.

I admit, one of our chief pleasures from crew is the rare oportunity when a goose is lazy and subsequently gets smacked by an oar. We haven't been able to actually hit one with the boat itself, yet...

neopets. thesy have destroyed the capacity of this computer, with a [s]little[/s] lot of help from my sister. the eight ads on each page. she's stupid enough to click 'win one million dollars!'. cheap sell outs.

she loves that site. she thinks all the little animals are 'cute'. she is always drawing pictures of them and covering the fridge. it makes me sick. mom finally blocked the site, because they were rotting our computer from the inside out.

I agree. Neopets has killed one computer of ours, and it killed part of the one I'm using. I hate it, but my siblings are obsessed with it.

Peeve: people who say good bands are sellouts. Who cares as long as their music is good?

That's really cool. The human mind is really an amazing thing--you can use it to heal yourself physically and psychologically.

Sometimes when I'm really stressed out I imagine all of my issues and worries as being a giant bunch of helium balloons...I imagine cutting the strings and watching them float away...sounds crazy, but when I'm done, I feel so much better!

My current annoyance? There is this girl at my school who is terrible depressed and not wanting to live, and she had this GREAT guy who really cared for her, and she dumped him. For some crazy reason.
She could be so much more positive about her situation in life, but is determined to make everything bad! I mean... She could be a little nicer to people for one...

Peeve: When people wear shirts for bands they don't know about. I've seen kids at my school with t-shirts for The Doors and ACDC, and of course, they don't know about them. They just thought the shirt was pretty.

Sounds like some rather severe depression. While it's difficult to deal with her, sounds like she's having a really rough time and could use some kindness, if not more professional help.

Oh, tell me about it. Ask them their favorite ACDC song and they'll say Back in Black for the sole reason that they're idiots and the don't kow Jack about ACDC. I personally don't like ACDC, I prefer Zeppelin. But, I only have one album and I don't wear Led Zeppelin shirts every freakin' day like some people. AAAARRRRRRGLGBLBLBLBL!!!

hitler?? i find that hard to believe. is this a product of schools thinking that because it was horrible, they can't teach the kids about it? pretend it didn't happen? they have to know!!!! that also makes me angry...also how they wouldn't teach the theory of evolution.

What?
Do you ever read what you've typed before you hit "submit"?
I only ask because that post really doesn't make any sense. Could you explain it a little better? You lost me.

Well, to be honest with you, StrongRad, I could understand that post perfectly fine. But, smart minds work differently, ya know?

But what he posted had nothing to do with the subject matter at hand. I mean, what in the crap does what Alberto wrote have to do with whether or not they teach about the guy in schools? Or evolution? Don't you see the disconnect there? It's almost like Prime Time zoomed in on his name and went on a completely unrelated rant.

Bluh.
My iPod not working.
I've tried everything I know.
Everything that everyone has been complaining about.
It worked for them, but for some reason, mine continues to be stubborn.

I'm moody right now.
He was like, my best friend. I TOOK HIM EVERYWHERE.
And now. He's dead.
:(
Gah. I hate this.

Heck yes. You don't know how much my dad complains about THAT.

I'm gonna vent just a little.

Peeve: This recent trend of users ressurecting threads that have been dead for about two years. I think that they are just doing it to increase their post count. Most of the old threads have been dead because of threads that cover them like Banner and Avatar Force, so there is really no need to post in these threads.

OK, sorry about that.
