Oh well.. Unless Stu is in a good mood the next time he gets on here, a LOT of people are going to find themselves not being members here (either temporarily or permanently).

I know one user who most likely will be looking for a new forum.

You'll have to be more specific. There are two people I can think of.......

I honor that.

But I'm pretty sure I know who you're talking about.

Peeve: Geeks. *hold up flame wall* now don't start flaming me. It's not my problem if you don't have a life. Now, I'm not referring to people who get on the forum a lot, but like, people who move in with their mom when they're like 30 years old, think about nothing but Star Wars/Trek, and don't have a job and are moochers and go to conventions. Like, if they actually come out of their dwelling of mom's basement holding a Darth Vader suit, and if you asked them what their name was, they would say,"Darth Vader." I mean, there is something wrong with that. People who don't get a job, don't pay taxes or support the economy, and use Jedi as a religion, and force themselves to believe they are Darth Vader or something. I mean, Jeez. You're creating the Boomerang Generation and it's really not good for society. If you're at the point in life where you're at such a lack of friends and a life, you have no where to turn but to live a fantasy life, you need serious mental help. Like, I mean, laying on a couch while a guy with an Austrian accent asks you what the ink blot looks like.

That's understandable. I also think that everyone should get out in the open and excersice or at least get a job, if age allows. However, part of me doesn't like what you just said because my 29 year old brother moved back in last year, but it had nothing to do with getting a job. He's very well payed. So there is usually an exception to a statement.

I dunno.
There's probably something involved that I am not seeing.
Just because, it's basically three or four nights in a week.

Just for the sake of wondering, how do you pronounce it/what's the correct way to pronounce it?

The syllables are run together when I pronounce it and the h is silent.
Something like VEE-ick-uhl, which is pretty much the same as Dictionary.com's (vē'ĭ-kəl), only I can't do the fancy symbols.

Well.
I was just doing it because I thought you would do it later in the day, and I knew I was going to be gone later in the day.
Sorry for my attempt at kindness, I guess.

Um.
My internet not working.
Boo.

I think you're making a bit of an unfair generalization. There are tons of people, besides Star Wars/Trek fans who contribute nothing to society, and most fans are perfectly normal people. Calling people like that "geeks" isn't fair. There's nothing wrong with being a geek, enjoying Star Wars and Star Trek, and going to conventions. I understand what you mean, I don't like people like that either, just don't act like geeks are the only ones who mooch and don't contribute.

Peeve'd - getting warts frozen off.

If you've never had it done before, here's a blow by blow account:
Nitrous oxide hurts on your skin, not only at the time, but for at least 2 hours afterwards.
The wart, plus the surrounding skin turns a lovely shade of red.
Then, several hours later, the wart plus other surrounding skin seems to expand and get bubbly and gross, that if you knock it, it halfway comes off, then you have to pull the rest of it off, which leaves an attractive sore.

Thank God for that!
