Sorry about the double-post there, I just didn't know how you could put a quote in your post whilst editing it after it had been posted. Wait a minute....Did I just say "whilst?" That's also my pet peeve :p

Sorry if I seem to have too many anger issue control problems over pet peeves here, but I hate it when there's a thread which has been busily been posted upon, and once I make a post, that thread is, like, never posted on again in the current lunar cycle. I mean come on guys, I'm cool! My mom says I'm cool.... :p

LEGAL DOUBLE POST'D

Oh...my.....g*d. Okay....right there was just a perfect example of what I was talking about. This thread is widely active and has 119 pages yet, here my post is, and I am forced to make a Legal double post after what, 25 hours? I jinxed myself with that post...

Just because no one responds to your post doesn't mean that they haven't read it. I have probably killed more threads than any one. Heck, I posted an update in my fanfic and nobody had a respnse for it.

Pretty much the same thing happened with Forum'D!

That's my pet peeve. What happened to all our loyal fans? Where are all the people that voted us Best Forum Comic?

forced meme's and phrases, by this I mean "Yata-Locked". clan stop, you are the only one that uses that phrase, and you will remain the only one that uses it.
P.S.: This is not clan bashing!

My peeve is my hand. It hurts. Why? Because 300+ degree grease was poured onto it. Mi whole hand up to almost my elbow was covered in hot grease. I might as well had stuck my hand right into the fryer. I can't use my left hand for much. Either it's in extreme pain at times, or when it's not that, it's numb from all the ice cold water that's it's soaking in.

Peeve: Trees

Today, we were chasing a VERY nice (soon to be tornadic) supercell just northeast of Tupelo, MS. Unfortunately, we could never get a very good shot of it. When we weren't in areas where terrain blocked our view, we were in areas where TREES blocked the view.

When we did get to a place where we could set up to get a good view, we got out of the car and my camera fogged up (driver had the AC on, and nobody thought about it until it was too late), so no good pictures :-(

Darn shame, too. The sky turned a beautiful (and incredibly deadly) emerald green.

Then, I get back to Huntsville, get to my apartment, and the sirens go off. I wasn't thinking much of it (as the bulk of the weather was in the north of the county. The bulletin said that areas in the path of the confirmed tornado included HSV (Huntsville International Airport), and Redstone Arsenal. If you draw a line through the center of both of those, and extend it on out, it passes roughly through my living room.

I decided that a wooden apartment building was no match, so I went to my office and rode out the storm in the basement (I figure a concrete reinforced bunker is a better opponent for a tornado).

The actual tornado DID go south of my apartment by about a mile or so. I may head down there tomorrow to see if anything actually got torn up.

Of course, I consider myself lucky. My former roommate was working in a bank in Goodlettesville, TN. He got a really up close view of a tornado when it passed about a block from him.

Today was an extreme outbreak, and it was foreshadowed by an unprecidented act (this is the first time the SPC has EVER issued a HIGH RISK on a day two outlook).

Oh, what a day. I'm gonna go find an open restaraunt and grab a bite to eat.

So, yeah. TREES suck, and if you ever go storm chasing, don't use your AC, it fogs your camera when you step out into the warm, soupy air.

Oh, geez. Hope you're all right. Wow, I can't imagine that sort of pain.

Peeve: Cold hands. Ever had really cold hands? Like so cold they're going numb? It sucks.

Right now, I'd love to have numb hands. I don't think my hand's going to scar up or blister up too bad, but it's going to be really freaking hard to do a lot of things.

I did that once. When I was a burger slinger. I was cleaning the sides of the fryer with a green scrubby thing, just sort of as a quick cleanup because I didn't have time to drain it, and I stuck my entire left hand (except for the thumb) in there. It really hurt.

So I feel for ya, man.

How did that happen?

Well, he could have accidently dropped something, or he spilled grease all over his arm while he was doing (pronounced doi-ing) something.

Yeeeowch!

I feel for ya kiddies... Dormar, one of my friends/co-workers has some softball sized pieces of ice you can put on your hand. He got them when they fell on his car.
He put about 10 in the freezer. Yeah, we're weather nerds like that.

My peeve right now is my mouse. It doesn't seem to want to go to the left or right when I tell it. I can move the mouse, but the arrow doesn't move unless it start swinging the mouse back and forth until it works. We need a new frickin' mouse. Preferably an optical one.

1. You don't tell the mouse to do things, you move it. :P

2. Have you tried taking the ball out and cleaning the insides?

The mouse will do what I want when I tell it to!

Been there, done that, didn't work.

It's lame.

Whack it against something, that always works.

I hate stupid public stuff. For those stupid suing types.

Example: In a hotel room. On a fridge. "Warning: Small children maybe caught in refrigerator. Keep children out of vicinity of fridge" or something like that.

I HATE when I'm watching TV with my mom and/or my sister and something funny happens and then they asked what happened and when I tell them what happened/to shut up I miss the next joke.

And I HATE when Saturday Night Live does a stupi sketch for waaaaay to long and it's REALLY not funny, like they are right now.

I also HATE when people don't TELL WHAT THEY THINK!

Yeah. I was dumping the grease out into the grease dumpster. The person helping me lifted the barrel too fast, causing it to spill all over my arm. I ran inside and proceeded to soak my hand in ice water for near an hour. It's mostly fine now, after all the Aloe and lotion and other crap I've put on it. Let me tell you this, taking 1600 mg of Ibuprophen at one time will knock you silly.

Well, get this. One of my coworkers has been on a recent rash of calling in sick to work. One day he's got the flu, but can go help his dad move furniture (which he declines happened). Monday he said he couldn't come into work because he "Broke" his hand. Then last night he called me saying that he can't work today, tomarrow, or Friday because he got a new job. Now Friday is the busiest day of the year for my work, and we need all the help we can get. So not only are we a man short on Friday, but I also have to cover his shifts as well as my own. That means that I won't have any days off besides for Sunday, because we're not open that day.

Don't you just love people like that?
Somehow, your boss makes their crappy work ethic your problem. Oh well, show up, do your job (and make it look like you're upset about having to be there, but don't mind doing it that much..). If you have a halfway decent boss, you can use this as a bargaining chip somewhere down the way.

I did that at WalMart once. Day before Turkey season opens, I was in sporting goods, alone. I ended up working about 13 hours instead of my normal 9 (8 + lunch). Since it was the end of the week, I kept the overtime, and remembered to bring the situation up when I was trying to get some time off that summer (manager said "help me out, here" and I could say "hey, I already did, about 2 months ago")

Spinning negatives into positives = good.

Or, if all else fails, just find your coworker with the "broken" hand and break it. :)
