Oh, sweet merciful crap, I see an extremely short fad coming on.

*heads to the extremely short bunkers, and slowly crawls in*

EDIT: Yeah, that that's a peeve.

My peeve was actually this stupid short bunker fad. I hope it doesn't last.

Okay, I'm having a hard time swiching back to nail polish remover, when in the past I was using pure acetone. I mean, just the acetone works way better. Then they decided to add all this crap to it to soften your nails and blah blah blah, but they forget that nail polish remover is supposed to remove your flipping nail polish!!! And why do they feel the need to make it yellow, anyway?! So it looks pretty on my shelves with the dozens of bottles of nail polish that I don't have? *sigh.*

Peeve: unnecessary adding of crap to things that were perfectly good to begin with.

GRAH! My mouse is my pet peeve.

I have an optical mouse, and every so often it decides to just move the cursor to some weird spot on my screen. WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN?

No, seriously. If there's a reason, I want to know.

Before I completely lose it!!!!

Yeah. Like, with no ball. Just a red light. Isn't that what you call it? If not, then I have a mouse with a red light. And it drives me NUTS!

Oh yeah, and:
The All-Knowing Wikipedia wrote:
LED optical mice are often mislabeled as "Laser Mice", probably because a red LED is used in almost all optical mice, and the laser color many people are most familiar with is red.

Oh, I see. My friend has one of those.

Muhug, your problem might be here:
That Wikipedia wrote:
Mechanical mice supporters point out that optical mice generally cannot track on glossy and transparent surfaces, including many commercial mouse pads, causing them to periodically "spin" uncontrollably during operation. Mice with less image processing power also have problems tracking extremely fast movement, though high-end mice track at 1 metre per second (40 inches per second) and faster.

Huh. Well, my mouse pad is neither glossy nor transparent, so I dunno.

I hate it when people just don't care about animals... magnifying/stepping on bugs, chaining up dogs, etc.... I would make a thread protesting this (especially the bug part) if I was a good enough argumenteer to support my side of the argument.

Me too... It's just so ugh. Like my neighbors use to love their lab, but since they had the baby, the dog is NEVER inside.

And I mean never.

And when I see people stepping on bugs, I knock them down and walk on them to see how they like it. Ha.

I understand the dog thing, but I don't think stepping on bugs is that bad. True, they're living creatures, but when they come into your home and start biting you or get into your flour, what are you gonna do? Let them outsideZ? They'll just come back.

If you're stepping on bugs who are outside, though, that's another thing.

I mean outside. And at school. I usually rescue them at school, cause kids always want to killa beetle or spider... Even though I don't like spiders...

Peeve o' mine: Soccer hooligans. Theere was a guy on my contacts list on MSN who changed his username to 'RANGERZ RULE CHELSEA SUCK'. I blocked him just for being like that. I don't even support either, but it annoys me that he says a team 'sucks' just because they stand a chance against his favorite one.

My peeve: Golf snobs.

Just got back from the course. Man, some of the people there were real jerkwads. I can understand that at a private course, or even a higher end public course, but if you're paying $5.00 green fees or less, you should expect that you're going to run into people like myself and my friends. We we just having fun, not exactly being serious (but not being disruptive or destructive), and a couple of people behind us started cursing us and were just generally being @$#*heads. We offered to let them play through, but they declined, chosing instead to complain how slow we were and how there should be laws against people like us on "their" course. Because they did this, we took our good sweet time. They went and got some course management people. We told them we offered to let them play through, and they wouldn't. Of course, they said we didn't. Finally they went ahead and we never heard from them again. It took a lot for me not to put a 3 iron into this one guy's head when he pushed our bags over when he walked by.
Instead of that, though, I decided to ask him why he was playing on the crappiest course in town if he was as good as he thought.

Peeve: When people ignore toastpaints. In the last week we have had two flare-ups involving Clan. Both times, I tried to stop it by toastpainting the thread, but they were ignored. Here is what I am talking about.

Exhibit #1(It's at the bottom of the page and read the next page)
and
Exhibit #2 - I said "toastpaint" 3 times, 3 FREAKING TIMES, and each one was ignored.

When someone says "toastpaint", even if that person is not a mod or Admin, you acknowledge it and stop whatever you were doing and get back on topic. Remember that, jerkies!

that sounds dictator-y.
one thing that makes me angry is that my dad watches cricket all day, but when i want to watch something, i turn on the TV and dad says"no, i don't want to watch this. i've been working all day. the last thing i want is the simpsons*" then, he changes to the cricket channel. and if i stand up to him, i get in trouble. it's like those stories by paul jennings where the wimpy kid says"i'd like to say that, but he's twice as tall as me. i never would." feels like communism.

*simpsons, or whatever i want to watch.

Don't you already have that power, being the mod that you are? Just threaten them with your hair or something, that'll work.

You know what I keep doing when I type? I keep using ; instead of ' when using words like "Don't". I just had to fix the don't up there, and every other time I shorten a word like that.

Peeve: my Radiation homework. Words (even four-lettered ones) fall short of expressing my rage right now. Seriously, I want to cause a lot of bodily harm to the instructor.

Does anyone know how to produce a plot of something as a function of two variables?

I don't, and I'm getting so mad I can't see straight. I've tried google, and, even though it gives me results, none of them are what I'm looking for.

Please, nobody say "ask the instructor". Trust me on this one. It's not his "office hours", so if I ask a question, he says "come back during office hours" and refuses to answer anything. What a jerk!
