Don'tcha just hate it when You try searching for something on google, yahoo, ect, and You find a bunch of other stuff that also has the same name as the thing Your searching for but has nothing to do with it? confused? well here's an example, when I searched for the Manga Carta(The charter of English political and civil liberties granted by King John at Runnymede in June 1215) on google images, I got a butt load of other images from this Korean game thats also named "Magna Carta".
And when I searched for Mike Tyson on DA, all I could find was Tyson from the Japanimation "Bayblade".

Weird, my school's newsletter is called the Magna Carta.

Coincedence? I think not.

I mean I think so.

My s key is acting up on me, and it's annoying me like crazy. I have to really push on it for it to work....yarr...

Lame cartoons, all examples:

1) A major fight, good vs evil, will the main character die? Or prevail?
Answer: He lives. Or the show would be cancled. OR! He dies. And gets wished back or something

2)Person 1: There seem to be no clues in this house.
Person 2: Yes, I guess not, {Pulls book, or opens bust to see a switch, or it automatically opens a door}
Person 1: Nice job!
Like that isn't in every freak'n cartoon.

3)Person 1: Oh god. I just got a sword through me, and somehow I don't seem to bleed, and I'm not gonna die of blood loss!

More like "Watch our show more"

5)In a fight, they seem to be able to dodge everything. And the good guy always seems to have more stamina, and be stronger, even though the enemy is a big buff dude.

6) Somehow, they seem to be able to hit huge, buff guys out in one hit, when they are scrawny.

I hate shows that do stuff like that. hate....

Well like almost 80%(that is a guestimate) of cartoons(American and to a lesser extent, Japanese.... but not Russian, their cartoons are cool) are like that, kinda a shame that there aren't enough animators that can think out side of the box.
Peeve: O.U.F. Over Used Fads.

Peeve: The kind of people who hate you one day, and then the next day literally stalk you and act like they're your best buddy. We have one of those in our school. Always jumping into conversations and annoying everyone. Once, someone insulted her, and she went "Oooooooh!" to HERSELF. And here is a small sample of a conversation with her:

Her (while breathing down my neck while I draw a picture): Hey, can you draw me a picture?
Me: No.
Her: Can you draw me making fun of these two boys?
Me: I said no.
Her (hands me a notebook): Here, draw it on this page.
Me: I said no; didn't you hear me?
Her: Great, I'll be back for it tomorrow. (walks away, leaving me blinking bewilderedly)

Yeah, there you go. Every school has at least one.

Pet Peeve: Anime

And not just because of Dragonall Z. I don't like the style of drawing, and the over-emphasization of effeminate looks. I mean, almost every male character in anime (except for the tough burly ones) has a "pretty-boy" look! And it seems to me like anime is just a cover for pr0n... they even have a whole subsection devoted to it!

I also have a pet peeve about furries, but I dunno if I want to say anything after what that other guy posted about them a few days ago... so if you really want to know WHAT I THINK!, you can PM me.

I don't care for most anime, but clearly you've totally missed out on entirely any and all good anime. Hint: The stuff they show on Cartoon Network, or any cable channel for that matter, is not good. Hint #2: One word: Ghibli. If anything, Miyazaki draws his female characters kind of boyish, and you won't find so much as a hint of pr0n in any of his work. Oh, and they win Oscars.

Yeah, I admit some anime is probably good, quality stuff. But I guess I've become jaded by all the crap I see everywhere else... I did go and look up Ghibli just now, and it actually doesn't look too bad... I'm just not into the whole dragon/fantasy stuff...

Heh, sure, LOTS of anime sucks beyond all mortal comprehension, but a ton of it is excellent, too. Anime is not another name for cartoons, you know, it's a genre of storytelling. There's going to be good stuff and there's going to be bad stuff depending on staff that makes it.

And I felt you should know that most anime is NOT hentai. Most anime is aimed at children or young adults, only a small percentage of the genre is adult. The problem, of course, is defining the line that marks what is 'adult' and what isn't. Japan has a different set of standards than the US. Naruto can get away with blood, gore and murder in Japan and is still labelled as a children's television program. The reason it's edited for United States release? They would like it to be for children here, as well. But if 4Kids dared to keep Naruto or One Piece entirely unedited, parents would be up in arms. And honestly, I would rather have fanboys and girls mad at me on the internet rather than parents who can boycott my television show and toys, too, wouldn't you?

I've started to rant and go ENTIRELY off-topic, I apologize. I used to be a bit of a hardcore anime fan, though nowadays the fanbase annoys the heck out of me. It's too elitist, and the pairings are weird even for MY tastes (one word: Elricest. Characters can't even be SIBLINGS and avoid rabid yaoi fangirls). I'm going to go ahead and stuff to American cartoons (even if getting the same flames about H*R slash over and over is annoying. You can only call me so many names before it gets old).

But yes ... Ghibli rocks. Everything Ghibli has ever made rocks. Watch Grave of the Fireflies and I DARE YOU not to cry.

*sniffles* All this talking and ranting has made me wanna pick up the ol' anime selection again. Maybe I'll watch Maho Shoujo Pretty Sammy TV tonight or something. Pixy Misa > all else. Excel Saga would be fun, too.

Anime and manga go hand in hand. But I'm guessing he's referring to anime itself, since most porn-ish manga isn't brought to states aside from internet translations and a few very rare actual translations (same goes for dating simulation games... um ... avoid them, if you can).
