Quote: Don't get me started with them. I hate soccer moms. I make fun of them every chance that I get. They are always the same woman too, the over-protective, child worshipper who are satisfied with staying at home and pumping out a baby every 9 months.
Um, why the hatred for the stay-at-home mom? Did anyone raise you, or did you just grow up on the street? And regarding crosswalks: at my school, students routinely just walk across the road NOWHERE NEAR a crosswalk and expect you to stop. All the time. I keep hoping one of them will just get plowed over and teach the rest of them a lesson. |

Quote: My mom is a nurse, she is out there working. The only time she was a stay-at-home mom was when she was on materinity leave right after she had me.
Okay, that answers my first question. As for my second: why the apparent dislike for mothers who don't take jobs outside the home? |

I don't think he's attacking all stay-at-home moms - just the more obnoxiously overprotective ones. That said, mine was a stay-at-home mom for over 20 years, and only started working at school fairly recently. From her experience, she says it's A LOT easier to go out and work than it is to handle the numerous responsibilities around the house, and I wouldn't doubt that for a second. Being a parent is very difficult work! |

Anti-fad people. They are just anti-fad because they can't keep up with them, even thought I'm usually somewhat late on the fad scene. |

Peeve: BTG ruining people's fun. Because he probably is a soccer mom and doesn't want his..her?...kids getting harmed by an internet fad that might come along,,you know, buy the kids gift, go out for dinner and a movie. Then the kids trust the meme, giving it their time and devotion when all of a sudden, WOOSH! It's gone, and another comes by to use them. Stop being overprotective of your childes, BTG. Or is your giant SUV too large to fit into a normal size parking space? Is that why you're so upset?? Nah I jest. I can understand where BTG's coming from. For example, I can't stand myspace or Xanga or stuff like that. Just...too creepy, ya know? And that in about a few years won't be as prevalent. But yeah. |

If you own a Jeep, I'm sorry. But I'm allowed to have a few irrational prejudices, dang it, and this is one of them. It's just whenever I see some middle-class executive type cruising along in his gigantic gleaming Jeep, I just think: "Lordy, that guy must be making up for something." Or these "soccer moms" - as you Yanks call them - who buy these bloody tanks to keep their little Mandy and Jimmy safe. And apparently it doesn't matter how dangerous these behemoths are to anyone on the outside. Yeesh. Right, rant over. TOTPCheatGrin. ![]() I don't have a problem with Jeeps... If they make a different lane for them. With a logs, a river and herds of cattle they have to ride through. Why not put these jeeps through what they were designed for! |

A reluctant peeve this time around. The Fuller Brush man. Every year, this 80-something door-to-door salesman comes 'round to do his selling thing. He's been doing this since who knows when. It's annoying when he comes by because he's ready to do his spiel but at the same time, there's a quaintness to it. I mean, this guy is pretty much an antique in himself. In the age of the Internet and box stores, we don't need D2D salesman but here this guy is all the same and he'll be around probably until he dies. Anyway, peeve, because he sprayed this vanilla air freshener around that really smells awful. |

Currently I'm at my parents house. When I got home, I noticed that everything was....inplace. Nothing broken, no papers on the ground. Out of the ordinary here. Usually my overly idiotic cat will play with a lot of things. I then noticed that the backdoor was slightly ajar. I then figured that someone didn't shut it right, and the cat got outside. Now she's an indoor, because she's deaf. I found her on the back porch, soaking wet because it was raining. She was all full of mud. I bring her into the bathroom to clean her off, and she goes crazy...er than normal. She was scratching at me and hissing at me. She kept meowing, which sounded like she was saying "Nooooooo!" (Not like Vader though) That cat can drive my insane sometimes. I now have scratches on my arm, as well as a wet shrt, because she kept trying to make a run for it. Yarr. |

I'm pretty much all wet right now because right after I started running it started raining, and then right after I got done it stopped raining. Yarrrrrr/r{15}/. |

I'm kind of with you there...except not. My peeve is those people who don't like music because it's "mainstream". Not that I always listen to "mainstream," I like my fair share of bands no one's heard of, but you can't hate music because it's "mainstream." It could be good. |

Pointless things. Like cleaning your bathroom. At least I hope it's the cleanest place in the house, minus the toilet. And the bathtub. What's the point of cleaning that? You clean yourself in it! I had to clean the bathroom about thirty minutes ago. I hated it. I hate pointless things. My school made us at lunch have to raise our hands just to throw your lunch away! You have to raise your hand to get up and go anywhere. I was late to bible club(during 2nd lunch) and we were late to class. Mostly, I just hate pointless things. |

New Peeve: Kids in school that try to be cool by getting in trouble all the time. I don't understand how that makes you cool. That's not cool, it's retarded. |

My latest peeve is my friend. A mutual friend of me and Myrrh, actually. She has a massive crush on this eighth grade boy. And he's the biggest idiot ever. Gets detention all the time, flirts with every girl in sight. I swear. No one likes him. Not my mom, not my teachers, not me, not Myrrh. And now she doesn't want to hang out with us anymore because we don't like him. She's messed up. Seriously. |

Does going on the roof of the school count as something bad to look cool, cause I definetely didn't do it to be cool. I usually have a pretty good record. |
