Yeah, I seriously doubt he left, remember that time he left for a month and everyone said "WEWT CLAN'S GONE"? I recall him saying he was grounded or something, that's probably what happened this time. He does have a personal life, people. I think.
Anyway, peeve: stupid novelty t-shirts. I'm seeing a lot of those lately. |

Guy novelty shirts are funny, but the girl ones are pretty pathetic. The ones that say "blondes have more fun" or "I'm a B!@ch" are for losers. Peeve - I banged my hand real hard on a pole with a sharp edge at the shops yesterday. It really hurts, and it feels funny to flex my hand back. |

The Blue Album, Pinkerton, the Green Album, all had great songs. But unfortunately, Weezer is now only a shadow of what they once were. And let me tell you why. Beverly Hills. This monstrosity began to leak across the world, causing preps to like Weezer, where they once were dispised. Now, with songs like Perfect Situation, I fear things can only grow worse. Our only hope is if Jay-Z makes another compaltion album. I agree 100%. The Blue Album in particular had some really fun, well-written stuff on it, and it's held up pretty well over time. But "Beverly Hills"... ugh. That HAS to be one of the dumbest singles ever released by a formerly good band. Just hopeless. And amen to that. |

I knocked it so hard that it broke the skin, but I didn't bleed. None blood was shed |

Exponential functions. How the crap am I supposed to graph and find the domain, range, and horizontal asymptote of the function f(x) = 1-3(2^x)? For that matter, why will I ever need or want to? |

I haven't done this in a loooooong time, but I think the domain is R, the range is -Infinity < y < 1, and the horizontal asymptote is y = 1. Of course, I cheated by actually graphing the thing. Yay for PowerCalc. |

Update: After doing maybe half of the assigned problems, I gave up. Tomorrow I'll ask my loathsome pre-cal teacher for help, but I'm not expecting too much. Though, Jones, I appreciate it. I was actually able to finish that one. The others, though...well, you don't happen to know how to solve the equation (e^4)^x X e^x^2 = e^12, do you?
Oh well. It's just homework. (She really is loathsome, too.)

Well, my car just keeps getting better and better. Today I stop to get gas, only to find out that the lever inside my car that I use to open the flap broke. I was low on gas, and not able to fill up my tank. Luckily I used a screw driver to open it. Add on top of it that my battery died on Saturday, yeah, the resale value on my car isn't exactly rising. |

![]() Somehow this worked for me: (e^4)^x * e^(x^2) = e^12 so (4*x) + (x ^ 2) = 12 x^2 + 4x = 12 x^2 + 4x - 12 = 0 (x - 2)(x + 6) = 0 x = [s]-6 or[/s] 2 (e^4)^2 * e^(2^2) = e^8 * e^4 = e ^ 12 (=~ 162 754.791) EDIT: Carp, you aren't online anymore. But oh well, tons of jobs use this right? Like, it's used whenever they need to calculate... important governmentstuff right? So, it's not like this is all for nothing right? Uh... right? |

I feel your pain. Believe me, I feel your pain. I have the nastiest homework problem I've ever had. It involves a VERY NASTY derivation. It's so nasty that the book doesn't dare get close to it. I'm at 3 1/2 pages right now, and I think I've got a little way to go. On top of that, I have to produce some figures for my boss so he can present them tomorrow morning. My program is running to produce those figures, so I have about 2 hours to kill. I'm gonna give up on this derivation problem for tonight. My brain needs to rest. What I wouldn't give to be back in high school or even back in undergrad. |

My roomate bought a new PS2 game a few days ago, and has been playing it nonstop. He has his own PS2 in his room, but insist that he plays out in the livingroom. So now I can't watch all three channels of TV that we have, or play something else since the other consoles are in the livingroom as well. |

Peeve: Jeeps, and the people who drive them (and who don't work on farms, or have any practical need for them). If you own a Jeep, I'm sorry. But I'm allowed to have a few irrational prejudices, dang it, and this is one of them. It's just whenever I see some middle-class executive type cruising along in his gigantic gleaming Jeep, I just think: "Lordy, that guy must be making up for something." Or these "soccer moms" - as you Yanks call them - who buy these bloody tanks to keep their little Mandy and Jimmy safe. And apparently it doesn't matter how dangerous these behemoths are to anyone on the outside. Yeesh. Right, rant over. TOTPCheatGrin.

Continuing the automotive theme... Peeve: My whole town for not knowing what brakes are. I get around town on my bike a lot and there isn't a day that goes by when I'm about to become grille meat on some guys truck because he's running a red light or just ignoring a stop sign. I've really got no problem with this happening once in a while, but every day?!? Also when a freking cop car fails to stop when I'm crossing a crosswalk. |

Little hint, if going to Western Kentucky University, DO NOT try crossing at the crosswalks, you'll get CLABBERED . Just run across the middle of the road (jay walk), everyone will stop.

I'm so paranoid about the people who drive in this town, I'm afraid to just jump into traffic like that. At least a cross walk has a 10% survival rate. |
