Almost everyone around here is Catholic, so no one eats meat on Ash Wednesday, so EVERYONE says "Hey, let's go to Pizza Hut! They have good food that doesn't have meat!" So I was busy as crap, plus I had to do a crapload of homework when I finished. I can only imagine how horrible it must have been for Ye Olde Dormroom over there. |

There is this annual sports & outdoors show coming to town this weekend that features live animals. That is to say, you get to see a 'wild' grizzly, mountain lion and African lion in postage stamp sized cages in the back of wherever they're hosting this year. I'm not an animal rights kinda guy, but they do this every year and it takes a heart of stone to not see how miserable the animals are in their overheated pens getting stuff thrown at them by little kids. |

I don't really like American Idol. It reminds me of all the rip-offs of shows known today. There are a lot of bad shows today. |

One word: Bryce. Ugh. My liking for 3d imaging has decreased severely today. In cg class we've been working on these store displays for made up products (mine's called Earth in a Box) and I had finally finished. So I set about to render it, and it took upwards of three hours to finish. Alright, slightly annoying, but understandable. So then, I stop by after school, a time when I knew it'd be completed. I get to the compy, and try to adjust the settings for the printer, you know, tomake it look nice, put it in landscape, etc. It turns out to be WAY more confusing than it should be (no print preview?!?) and ultimately, when I tried one of my teach's suggestions, my picture completely unrendered itself. So now I have to start. All. Over. Guh. |

I have a major axe to grind. Peeve: Did we seriously chase Clan off? If we did that nullifies any good that we have ever done on here. It bothered me while I went to sleep last night. I know that he annoyed every user on here, especially Mandy. I know I did my fair share of Clan bashing, and I am sorry for that, but don't you think we took things a little too far? I mean we had the anti-Clan banners (which Jones made a funny parody of) and we flamed him mercilessly. Since this is Lent and the primary practice is giving up something for penance, I say we give up Clan Bashing from now until Easter and beyond. If Clan comes back, I want him to see this place for what it really is, a fun place. |

I dunno... it seemed like Clan was kinda oblivious to the extensive bashings he got, and they didn't bother him that much. Remember, he does have a tendency to take long breaks from this Forum. A recent peeve: Having dreams where someone falls in love with you that are almost always among the most realistic ones you have, then waking up shortly afterwards. Yargh.

Yargh. ![]() They're probably the msot realistic because in real life they are the least realistic. So, if all dreams have the same amoutn of realisticness in them, the ones that will seem the most realistic are ones that are actually the least realistic but still possible, because the contrast between them is elss If that made any sense. I just found it interesting, for some reason. |

Peeve: Weezer. Now, before you start throwing full wine bottles at your screen, let me explain. Weezer was good, once. The Blue Album, Pinkerton, the Green Album, all had great songs. But unfortunately, Weezer is now only a shadow of what they once were. And let me tell you why. Beverly Hills. This monstrosity began to leak across the world, causing preps to like Weezer, where they once were dispised. Now, with songs like Perfect Situation, I fear things can only grow worse. Our only hope is if Jay-Z makes another compaltion album. |

I agree 100%. The Blue Album in particular had some really fun, well-written stuff on it, and it's held up pretty well over time. But "Beverly Hills"... ugh. That HAS to be one of the dumbest singles ever released by a formerly good band. Just hopeless. |

Remember, he does have a tendency to take long breaks from this Forum. Which is what I've been saying for a while now, with everyone saying "omg we scared him off". Just because he hasn't posted in a while, does that mean he's gone for good? No, it doesn't. Clan is a real person, remember that. He is most likely away, on vacation, busy or something else. Also, let me direct you to his "final post". Not angry at all. However, I agree that if he shows up again, we should...what was it that Stu told me...oh, yeah. Stu, in a PM wrote: Just try to be patient with him. Ignore the dumber posts he makes, and let us know when he posts something inappropriate.
Taking this route is the best solution in my mind. |
