My peeve is stupid mistakes in math class. Yesterday I had a calculus test, and I thought I did OK, but I made two stupid, STUPID mistakes.

I multiplied 3 by 1 and got 9 somehow, and read a less-than sign (<) as a greater-than sign (>).

Bluhh. I got a 93, which is still an A, but bluhh anyway.

I did something like that on my radiation exam yesterday.

I forgot to divide by Pi... Funny thing is, on my note card for the exam (in grad school, you get to use cheat sheets), and I even wrote it on the page where I was working the test.

Oh well, it was on the horribly written (engrish) problem that didn't actually ask us to solve anything... It just listed some values...
I didn't know what to do, so I just calculated everything I could calculate from those values...

My pet peeves are legion, but among them.

The fact that those who know the least about politics tend to be those who feel the have the need to influence others on them (I'm looking at YOU Green Day!).

Green Day. I'm sick to death of "American Idiot". I'm sick to death of seeing that *&^%ing heart grenade, and I'm sick to death of everyone saying how awesome they are. I would really like to punch their eyeliner wearing lead singer in the face once for each copy of American Idiot that has been purchased. Seriously. I hate them that much.

People who talk on cell phone while driving. It just irritates the fecal matter outta me.

Pink polo shirts. PINK IS FOR GIRLS. DEAL WITH IT.

Popped collars. THE DUMBEST FASHION TREND EVER.

Goths. MAKEUP IS FOR GIRLS. DEAL WITH IT.

MTV. There isn't any music on MTV anymore. The channel has become pointless.

Those retarded hillbillies on my campus who have the exact same horn sound as the General Lee. It was midly amusing the first time we heard it, but it was &%*^@ing annoying the 48th and 49th times.

Whew, good to get that off my chest.

I agree with all of those except the Horn one. That will never get old.

Here's a pet peeve: People who still complain about MTV not playing music anymore as though it's novel. IT'S BEEN BEEN A CRAPPY CHANNEL FOR TEN YEARS. DEAL WITH IT.

MTV lost most of its credibility with me when the cancelled Headbanger's Ball the first time. They gained some of it back when they brought HB back.

Yeah, I get more than enough of my fill of music videos from VH1 Classic (particularly The Alternative), and have happily ignored eMpTyV for awhile now... for the most part, anyway.

I dunno, living in Germany is like living under a rock, even with the internet. By the time I actually was into MTV and stuff like that, there wasn't any music on.

Right now I'm pretty mad at one of my roomates. I have a jar in my room that I put my money in so I don't keep it in my wallet and spend it. I use the jar because I never have time to go to the bank. My roomate to $$20 out of it to buy cigarettes. Now he already owes me money to begin with, and that $$20 was going to be used by me today to buy lunch for myself......yarr.....

Aww Ramrod, that's not pwnsome at all. And $20 for cigarettes? Not pwnsome. That's why I <3 living by myself.

Another money-related peeve: the Euro coins. I would love to ask the (doubtlessly overpaid) eejit who designed them where he got the genius idea of making them all look exactly the same, so you can't tell the bloody things apart when you're looking for your change.

I had a similar problem when the US started with the dollar coins. They were the same size as a quarter, so, when you were fumbling around for change in the dark, you always got the wrong one. In daylight, if you bothered to look, you could EASILY tell the difference, quarters are silver, dollars are gold. I'm convinced that the similarity in size is a big reason that the dollar coin failed miserably in America. I still use them, but I think I'm the only one.

Peeve: The person living upstairs. I don't know what was going on last night. All I know is that I was hoping the ceiling didn't break.. Seriously, The were running or something. Geez..

Well, whatever it was, I'm really annoyed that it did. When I was in England I loved using the 1-pound coins. I miss them so much.

That was my dad's reason as to why it failed. People didn't like the fact that it was too much like a quarter.. He would know.

He's worked in the same bank for something like 30 years.

Every now and then you'll get a dollar coin as change somewhere. I love using them, too. They're handy. Of course, having a pocket full of dollar couins can be quite heavy, compared to the same amount in paper form, but that's why you don't carry a whole pocket full of them.

I'm-a have to go to the bank and see if I can get me some. The place where I do laundry just fixed their machines to take the dollar coins. It'd sure beat putting 16 quarters into the super capacity mahine.

I fell down the STEPS, getting ready for a class that I didn't even have! Now I gotta sit here till 12:40 =(

Ah well. Gave me a chance to clean out my DA inbox, anyways. That's another pet peeve -- people who boast about how much they've let build up in their inbox on DeviantART. They're proud of being too lazy to click a friggen link. Nimrods.

No can do, fellas... You would have to hold a sock full o' quarters so I could do my laundry. Of course, that's after we hit the mall and take out La Fours.

I dunno if this has already been mentioned in the other 107 pages of this thread, but stupid cats who pee on things you can't easily replace to "mark their territory". Fortunately, only one of them seriously has this problem. Is it a coincidence both the most annoying, problematic cats I've ever had have been the only girls? X-(
