I shouldn't be a pet peeve. I'm a normal user.

You'll usually avoid those little adverts in LimeWire if you just don't download anything that is 134.4 kb...

File size usually gives away phoney files, anything under 1,000 KB I avoid.

Yeah, but sometimes they beef them up by making it repeat.

And no more of this "Peeve: Clan" stuff. I did that for MR once. I was told off.

The major problem I get is find a file that has crappy sound. I am listening to Feel Good Inc. by the Gorillaz and I have to crank up the volume just to hear it.

But we live in a forum of society and law. We don't flame each other. We alert a mod, or admin. And they haven’t done anything. But that is no reason to flame. We have to choose the civilised option.

I wasn't rying to start a flame war. I was just merely stating a fact. If Clan wants to flame me for it, he can go right ahead, I won't fight back.

OK.

ENOUGH.

Seriously.

Stop with the clan bashing or this thread will be locked.

It's really getting on my nerves, and the nerves of more than one non-clan user here.

I'm just a normal user.
Look, I don't think trolls like Necromancer or Devil.of.Firewalls should be fed. When they are, I get annoyed.

Okay this has nothing to do with Clan bashing, but:
1) You never met necro or even seen his posts.
2) Devil.of.Firewalls was not a troll.
AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PEOPLE,TOASTPAINT!

Devil of Direwalls is not a troll, he is a noob, there is a difference. I have been around here long enough to know the difference between a newbie and a troll. A couple of good examples of trolls are Necromancer, who you have never met before, and Edgar/123ABC. A good example of a noob would be Jonn-E. When he got here you could barely read his posts, and we let him know it. Eventually he learned that grammar are good things and we haven't had a problem since.

Now TOASTPAINT!

Peeve: There is this car dealer in my area that has the most annoying catchphrase. The guys name is Billy Fuccillo, This guy has dealership all over the country. His catchprase is "HUUUUUUUUGE!" He says it during ever commercial and he had been saying this for about 10 years now. When he first started saying "HUUUUUGE!" it was cool, now it is just really annoying. I see it everywhere. It's on busses, billboard, newspapers, on the radio and TV, and even the midway at the New York State Fair is call the "Fuccillo HUUUUGEWAY". I am hoping he changes eventually, I can't stand it anymore.

Think that's bad? There's the guy on the Dirt Cheap Beer and Wine stores in St. Louis. His catch phrase is, "The more of our beer she drinks, the better you look!" And he has this annoying person in a chicken outfit who keeps going, "CHEAP! CHEAP! FUN! FUN!" Here's a freaking clue, you jerk: WOMEN ARE PEOPLE! And most of them are a little smarter than to think some old clown like you looks good just because she has a few freaking cheap beers in her! SHEESH!!

Yeah well you can't see a half-hour worth of TV without seeing atleast 4 of his ads. That is one ad every 7.5 minutes, it's ridiculus.

Annoying car dealership commercials? Oh, man...

Last Easter, there was this commercial that kept playing for Route 46 Nissan or something.

Picture a serious-looking man in a business suit telling you how great his cars are.

WITH TWO GIANT PINK-AND-BLUE BUNNIES DANCING BEHIND HIM.

I mean, come on! They weren't even really dancing! Just sorta half-heartedly wiggling. NOT a nice sight.

You want to hear about annoying commercials?

How about Fitness Celebrity John Basedow? Or Roni "Pennies-on-the-Dollar" Deutch?

They peeve me. But they're funny.

Don't know if Roni is a nationwide thing, though.

All those commercials sound like ones off FOX that are always playing for "Joe nobodies Nissan and Honda" with some dude in a suit yelling "We're practically giving them away!" and "We must be crazy!"

I DON'T CARE, SHUT UP.

I wish those car people would get an original idea for once.
