He's tired of being famous. I remember seeing it in some article.

As for peeve, it's my roomates sometimes. They can be cool, but other times they can be a pain. I have an early class and they don't, so that means they like to stay up late at night. So annoying.

Yeah, I think I'd be tired of being famous for something like that. When I get famous, I want it to be because I'm president, or first man on Mars, or because I kicked Chuck Norris' butt, or because I'm in some ultra awesome summer blockbuster with Bruce Willis, or because I'm Rosario Dawson's boyfriend who's engaged, but neither girl cares, or something like that.

Peeve: Jumping through hoops. Because of the collaborative nature of my work, I often have to fill out the same form twice for 2 different organizations. I then have to run down my academic advisor, research advisor, department head, and office of research director.
It wouldn't be so much of a problem if I would get both forms at the same time, but, usually one has to be completed before the people who give me the other one can get it to me.
I spend so much time doing paperwork that I don't have much time to do actual work.

I love academia.

I got a kick out of that. Chuck Norris > everyone else. There are facts that say so. ;)

Peeve: Being Tired. I had to wake up at 3:30 this morning for a hockey pracitce. That's bad enough on it's own, but then I had to go to school for the rest of the day. I've been exhausted since I woke up.

Peeve: Losing my glasses in the morning. Sometimes my glasses fall off my nightstand, and I'm all tired, and it takes, like, 10 minutes to find them.

Yarr, me too. I'm so blind without my glasses. I really need to think about contacts -_-;

That happened to me once. It sucked.

And without my glasses, I'm a Velma - that is, I'm almost utterly blind to a nearly hilarious extent.

My eyesight also sucks. I think about contacts, but then all the terrible things that could happen start running through my mind from, "you won't be able to get them on," to, "they'll be like the novelty ones and rip your eyes open." So, I'm happy with my glasses right now. My head looks funny without them.

Hey, if a girl with the most sensitive eyes in the world can do it, I'm sure you can. ;)
I suggest O2 Optix. You can sleep in them!

Peeve: The cleaning guys at the campus Dining Hall who pick up my tray when I'm sitting by myself and get up to get more food (as it's an all-you-can-eat buffet..and the food's actually not too bad for campus food)... It's just a big (and current) part of my overall pet peeve of people who underestimate my maturity/responsibility/intelligence/other abilities...I mean, do they really think I'm THAT irresponsible that I can't bus my own tray like we're supposed to? Is the concept of getting second helpings really THAT foreign to them (even though most of them working there are immigrant students from other countries...)?

The song is called Dragostea Din Tei, by a band called O-Zone. I found it on Limewire, but only by searching for the song's actual title.

Anyways, I really really hate drunk people. Mostly because I work in a restaurant. I'm a hostess/waitress (mostly hostess) and lemme tell ya ... these guys suck. They come in, exceptionally drunk and hit on me. Just because the hostess smiles and greets you doesn't mean she digs you. Drunk people don't seem to realize this -_-;

Acutally I typed in "Numa Numa" and I found the song.

Hey be nice to drunks, it's not their fault they can't form any logical toughts. :p

When I worked drive-thru at McDonald's, I always liked getting the drunks and stoners. They were impossible and yet fun.

I have to go to freaking Pizza Hut in an hour and a half. Zah.

Oh, man, that sucks. I looked at my school calender earler and saw that it was SAT day. Saturday's not a day I want to take a life-changing test.

Of course, losing a contact in the middle of the day can be rough. -_-

Does anyone else hate it when your shoes get wet? Mine did today at work, and they're still soaked. And now my toes are all wrinkly.

Oh, yes, definitely. I hate that. Not only will your feet get soaked and cold, but your socks are going to stink quite a bit unless you wash 'em right away.

Ditto the wet shoes. Except my socks always have a blue tint afterward... and I've had those shoes for years... it's weird, man.

The worst thing about the wet shoes/socks thing is that squishing feeling you get when you walk around.

I used to keep another pair of shoes and another pair of socks in my car for that very reason.

Everyone laughed at me until we were working outside one day and had a sudden downpour. My feet were dry the rest of the night in my reserve shoes while they all walked around in squishy, wet shoes and socks.

The wet shoe thing also can be a serious problem if you keep them wet.

Yeah, definately. It didn't help that I was working all day, walking around and such. My shoes and socks after I took them off = not good smell......yarr....
