It may look nice, but it was freaking impossible to get around. Whoever designed was probably the first person comitted.

Ah, yes. The maze building.
Whoever designed the building I work and go to class in must be related to that dude, then.

I'm glad I didn't have to make any emergency bathroom trips my first month in that building. The fourth and third floors of NSSTC are VERY different from one another, and both are freakin catacombs. My office is on the main hallway, thankfully. Some of my coworkers are not so lucky. They can't tell people who aren't used to the buildings how to get to their office.
Fortunately, anyone who doesn't work in the building has to sign in. I think that's so nobody just walks in and gets lost. It's VERY easy to do.

Peeve: Professors that make insanely hard classes easy after you take them.

The professor from my satellite class last semester has decided that his class was a bit insane. He's decided to cut down the class a bit.
He's gone from 10 questions and 3 to 5 programs per assignment with a week to do it to 3 questions and 2 or 3 programs per assignment with 2 weeks to do the assignment.
He's also scaled back his final project from 3 classification schemes to one (the easiest of the 3).

This class is going to be a "cake walk" now (relatively speaking). I used to spend 40-60 hours a week doing work for this class (with 80 hours/week the last 2 weeks).
With the new assignments having significantly less work, I could probably do one assignment in half the time. Couple that with the fact that there are now 2 weeks per assignment, and I'm thinking that I could easily get an A in there, instead of fighting for the B I got.

Yeah, keep dreamin'. :P

Peeve: Getting up early. It's just an annoying, unavoidable part of life. But I hate it when I can't get enough sleep.

LEGAL DOUBLE POST

Peeve #1: Today I went lifting to burn time between classes(I have a 4 hour break). I spent about an hour down there and I am going to regret it tomorrow. Tomorrow I will be moving like the Tin-Man.

Peeve #2: I can't get MSN to work on this computer.

If you drink more water sometimes it'll help.

The big toe on my right foot pops all the time, I wouldn't be worried.

If I'm thinking the same thing as you when you say "pop" then my big toes do that two. And my thumbs, though that's a bit different.

My definition includes a clicking sound and a odd feeling every time said didgit moves.

Tor: that's just the first stages of arthritis. Nothing to worry about. But BTG: um, if it persists for a week, soak your arm in salt water. Or contact a doctor. Are you right-handed?

This is not a substitute for REAL MEDICAL ADVICE. But you know that.

Yes I am right handed. I have had this for a while, when it isn't popping, it is mildly inflamed, slight discomfort.

My dad's house was broken into today. While there weren't many expensive things stolen (my dad's class ring, a couple watches, and some silver), a lot of moderately expensive things that had a lot of sentimental value were.

I'm seriously worried that they may go back tomorrow. They put a lot of stuff in boxes and put it by the window where they came in.

Unfortunately, Dad has to work tomorrow, so I'd say that he'll come home to an empty house.

I don't understand people. The stuff in the house is not theirs. They had no right to take it.

I hope they get caught. There have been other break-ins in the area, hopefully, they'll break in to another house and something very bad will happen to them.

That must suck.
My friend Casey was robbed before. They cleaned out her whole room.
How did they get in? A door? A window?

Basement window. I have no clue how they made it through that window, though.

I just found out something else that was stolen. They took my CD bag. It seems like a great thing to steal, as it holds 100 CD's, but I have all of those disks here in Huntsville in one of those CD binder things. All they succeeded in doing was stealing about 95 empty CD cases.

Recent peeve: Cats keeping me up at night for long periods at night and the early morning running around, fighting, whatever. I love all of them to death, but it does get annoying having this persist for several weeks/months now.

There is a solution to your cat problems, Nick. Of course, if you wanted to be cruel, you could just threaten to dress them up in those costumes people often dress pets up in.

Havn't you said that you carry a gun around sometimes? Next time somebody's stupid enough to break in give 'em a face fulla glock.

See, the problem is, the house that got broken into was my dad's house, 500 miles away from me. Also, nobody was home at the time. Had my dad been home they probably wouldn't have broken in (pretty much because of the reason you mentioned).
