I just hate it when songs get stuck in My head, like right now I have that old pokemon theme song stuck in there.

How do YOU pronounce Onion??

Own-yawn?

Un-yun?

I think UN-yin is the correct pronounciation.

I wanna be, the very best, like no-one ever was.....to catch them is my real test, to train them is my cause....

The sad part was I had that memorized, no research for that.

I hate it how people always give me the weird looks when I look at manga at my local book store. They think I'm some sort of dork.....in which I am, but still....

Peeve: People who don't keep their cars clean.

I'm okay with dirty floors and a few scraps of trash here and there, but when people go for months without clearing out the trash to the point that it's hard to find a place to put my feet.. that drives me bonkers. And I'm always amazed at how many people do this. Even people who have relatively tidy homes. It ain't that hard to take a glance around your car every time you get out and grab whatever trash you see. Grah.

Peeve: Dumb Neighbors

As I was leaving my apartment this morning, I got stopped by the girl that lives next door to me. Apparently she'd seen me doing some work on my car and decided I was a "handyman" (truth be told, I'm more of a tinkerer than an actual handyman).
She said her dishwasher was acting weird and wanted to know if I'd look at it.
I told her I was kinda in a hurry, but I'd look at it, and, if it was anything I couldn't fix immediately, that she should call our landlord, as Sharon is pretty good (and very quick) about paying professionals to come fix stuff.
I go over there, and her kitchen is totally full of suds.
I was pretty sure what was wrong, but I wanted to be sure, so I asked her what kind of soap she used. She produced a bottle of dish soap. I went on to ask her how much she used. She said she'd filled both soap things, plus squirted a little in the bottom of the dishwasher "to make sure they got REALLY clean".
I know she's not the first person to do that, but still. You'd think people would know not to do that.. They make dishwasher detergent for a reason.
I kinda wish I woulda gotten a picture of her kitchen.

Peeve: My computer's strange error kinda thingy.
Lately there's something wrong with my computer: the cursor suddenly just stops moving. And it happens very often... So I use the keyboard to restart the computer. Sometimes my cursor starts working after that, but not always. So I think I have restarted it at least 50 times today.
It's so irritating!

This sounds like a hardware problem, actually. Have you checked to make sure the mouse is firmly plugged in? Have you tried using a different mouse?

Which reminds me of a different pet peeve (not related to your Obomaru): People who don't read error messages. Being a Computer Guy, my friends and family always ask me for computer help, which is cool, except when they say, "I keep getting this weird error whenever I do XYZ," and I ask, "What does the error message say?" and they say.. "I dunno." People! Come on! What do think the error messages are there for? To tell you what went wrong! So your friendly neighborhood Computer Guy can help you fix it! Eesh.

You'd hate my car then. I haven't cleaned it out in months. It's not that grimey dirty more of a "Whole-lotta-freakin crap" dirty.

I used to get that. My mouse's cord had a short in it..

Restarting didn't actually fix the problem, though, I think that, whenever I would get up to restart the computer (it was behind the monitor), I would jiggle the cord just enough to fix it..

I got a wireless mouse, and that fixed it..

If restarting fixes it everytime, then I doubt it's a short in the cable, but it's an idea. Try using another mouse (have a friend bring one over, if nothing else). If that fixes the problem, you're gonna have to get yourself a new mouse.

Peeve: My uncanny ability to wake up just before my alarm goes off. Strange, isn't it? Whenever my alarm clock is set, I always wake up a minute or two before the music turns on. It's really bizarre.

But what I'm really mad about is that I'm missing out on a couple of minutes of sleep.

I would be a hypocrite if I said that bugged me too. I try to keep mine somewhat clean, but yeah, sometimes is the key word. I have found multiple dollars in pennies while cleaning out my car.

At least your car has an armrest. Mine doesn't. I usually rest my arm on the E-brake.

Arrgh, that bothers me, especially on long road trips. I either rest my hand on the shifter or on the passenger seat, provided that I am not carrying passengers.

There is a little handle thing on the roof I'll hold onto sometimes, but that still leaves my other arm to flail.

You mean the "Oh, Jesus" bar. I only hold on to that when am riding in Dormar's car.

I ride in the trunk of Dormar's car, so I don't have a handle.

My Pet Peeve: Monday.

Wednesday.

Friday.

Yep, six fun-filled engineering classes each of those days.

So that's why I hear an "ow" whenever I hit a bump...

I know how everyone complains about work, but these past few weeks for me have been horrible. My boss hurt himself, leaving me in charge. I've been working 10 hour days everyday for the past two weeks. My social life, as low as it is, has gotten even worse.

Well...it bears repeating.

Thanks, guys, for responding to my compy problem. But yeah, the cable is in correctly. I'll see if using a new mouse works.

Ya, I know what you mean. Those ones that want you to buy subscriptions to their publications are the most annoying.

It's especially annoying if you already subscribe to that particular magazine..

Seriously, why do they need those little cards, we can go on the internet or call them if we actually need to subscribe.

That is the publishing company's way of tell you that they control your life.

Well, that means that you filled your dryer too much to get everything dry. With pants they take longer to dry than shirts and socks and the what-not.

How many pairs did ya put in? The crappy dryers at my apartment won't dry more than 3 or 4 pairs.

One thing that really helps is to make sure that the jeans aren't folded into themselves or anything that doubles up the fabric..

Peeve: stupid people at Sonic.. Not the people working there...
You know how they have patio seating? There were people sitting there, eating. Nothing wrong with that. The annoying thing was that they wanted to listen to music, so they crank their car stereo (quite loud). They coulda sat in their car, but, I guess they'd rather everyone listen to annoying crap...

Guh...

Even turning up my stereo, I could still feel the bass rattling my car.. guh..
